The moment the gate pulsed, the world around Rin vanished.
No sound. No wind. Just light, and then, something else.
When he opened his eyes, he was somewhere entirely unfamiliar.
The sky was a deep violet, with clouds that shimmered like oil slicks. The ground beneath him was cracked and jagged, pulsing faintly as if alive. Strange trees with glassy bark reached upward like skeletal hands. And the air smelled… wrong.
He reached for the guild-issued device on his wrist. The signal was intact. Blue dots flickered to life on the display, friendly forces scattered nearby. It worked as planned.
This world wasn't Earth,he'd realized that the moment he saw the sky. Two suns hovered above, casting twin shadows across a jagged wasteland. Strange flora, sharp as blades, covered the terrain. No signs of civilization. No structures. No language. No intelligent life.
Only monsters.
Wild, savage, brutal.
And strong.
There were no humans in sight. The scattered deployment had been anticipated, each guild member wore a locator device that could ping nearby allies. Rin activated his, and the screen flickered to life. Three blue dots were nearby. No red dots yet,no enemies, at least by the device's standards.
He began to move.
Within ten minutes, he found them. Three younger guild members, barely older than cadets, trapped beneath a rock ledge, cornered by things that barely resembled animals. Their legs were twisted backward, with exposed joints and skin like molten obsidian. Four of them circled the guild members, who'd drawn weapons but were clearly panicking.
Rin crouched, watching from a high ledge. His white-scaled hands curled into fists.
He should've jumped in. Should've helped immediately.
But he didn't.
He waited. Waited as the creatures attacked. Waited as the three screamed, barely holding on. Waited until blood began staining the rocks.
Only then did he leap.
He moved like a phantom, barely visible to the eye, slamming into the first beast and ripping its head clean off. The others turned too late. In seconds, they were nothing but twitching corpses. The three injured guild members blinked in disbelief, drenched in their own blood and fear.
"Y-You're—Prince Rin!" one of them stammered.
Using the dragon form first ability,a white dragon can use invisibility just like a chameleon, this place place was dangerous so he was moving really careful, getting points by earning the admiration and respect of low levels was one of his goals in the gate but even if he was carefull problems will still find a way.
The locator on Rin's wrist blinked. Three blue dots in the distance. He had already found and subtly saved a few guild members . Each time, he gained Tyrant Points. Respect. Fear. Admiration.
+4… +3… +6…
They added up slowly. But they added up.
He needed them.
Because his goal was clear now, reaching 20% blood purity. That would unlock the next tier of power. And then,30%. The level where royalty or commoner alike could manifest energy from their bloodline. That was true strength. That was command.
But for now, he was still at 17%.
He couldn't afford recklessness.
A rustle.
Rin halted.
Something was coming.
From the dense bluegrass ahead emerged a beast. At first glance, it resembled a lion, but its mane was made of metallic feathers, and its claws glowed faintly with heat.
Analyzing threat… bloodline estimation: equal to 25% purity.
Rin's jaw tightened. This would be his hardest fight so far.
He tapped the side of his neck. His armor,Level 3 royal-issue combat gear, activated with a soft chime, plates sliding over his limbs and chest. It was one of the best enhancements money could buy, and rare even among the elite. If is the reason why he won against kyran but he couldn't use its full potential ,he needed to be atleast 20%
But armor alone won't be enough…
