(Jayden's PoV)
Things went as well as they did in the Canon timeline.
After we met with the queen and had a chat, Qui-gon took Anakin to the temple. Although he was a Master and had once had the opportunity to become a member of the council, he lacked the authority to bring unknown people to the temple without authorisation.
So, he let Anakin follow the Naboo team.
When we arrived to meet with the queen at her residence, we had permission from the temple to bring Anakin in for testing.
What would they test about? I have no idea. The movie didn't show it properly either. I mean, not everything that happened could be condensed into three hours. Many things that are deemed not critical to the arc at that time would be ignored.
The main point of that testing part was that the council refused at first, which would instil in Anakin the idea that the order doesn't like him.
First impressions do matter.
To him, Qui-Gon was the only Jedi who trusted him. He was the one who saved him from slavery, and even after the council deemed that Anakin couldn't be trained, Qui-gon was the one who took the chance to train him. Though that didn't come to fruition as Master Jinn died a few days later, Kenobi took that burden as a way of honouring his master.
Since Anakin had seen Qui-Gon as the best Jedi, and after Maul killed him, he became obsessed with fighting the hologram of Maul. He was always hateful towards the Separatists when Dooku became a Sith and led the CIS against the Republic.
The fact that the Trade Federation, which was the reason why Maul was able to fight and kill Qui-Gon, sided with the separatists made his hate even more.
Well, I need to change a few things, or else the galaxy would bleed as it was supposed to. If I can't alter a few things, the galaxy will start to go spiralling down from this moment.

By noon, we left the residence and were on our way to the temple, along with Anakin.
While we would rest for a while, the Queen would be busy with the Senate hearings. Anakin has to go to the Council, where he will be evaluated.
An hour later, we arrived at the temple. The traffic is horrendous, even with so many lanes of travel; it's not easy, as there are literally trillions of people living in this city world.
After arriving at the temple, I went on my own way to find my friends, while my master, alongside Qui-Gon, went with Anakin to the council. Kenobi, well, he followed the trio as well.
I didn't have time to waste on these meetings, where I already knew the outcome. In the time I have, I need to cultivate some allies, especially among the young who would be easy to mould now at a young age.
If they grow old, their thoughts would be settled, and it wouldn't be easy to change. Additionally, at an older age, most people resist change, as they have already found comfort in their current stage and don't want to relinquish it.
A few hours after spending some time with my friends, I returned to my room, which I had to share with my master. Don't think something stupid, we have different beds, and sufficient space between us.
My master informed me about the council's decision and also about Qui-Gon's decision.
Qui-Gon would train Anakin, as soon as Obi-Wan Kenobi goes through his Knight trials and becomes a Jedi Knight, but that has to wait, as the pair has important things to deal with at the moment.
They were already assigned to Naboo, and until the conflict ended, they were to stay with the Naboo team. Sometimes, Jedi trails would actually be real-life trails, not something the Order creates for the test.

A Few Days Later...
"We got orders, Jayden. Let's move", my master appeared suddenly as I was enjoying my time with the old friends.
We got to stay behind on Coruscant for the last few days.
The hot topic of Coruscant was about Naboo and the Trade Federation. There was already a lot f negative views about Trade Federation among many worlds, as they have monopolised trade one way or another.
There are very few competitions to them across the galaxy.
Even my parents are restricted to a few sectors in the Mid-Rim. Their influence was mainly due to the manufacturing industries that were spread across the galaxy, which only increased in number due to my suggestions.
"Where are we going, master?" I asked her innocently, as if I had no idea about what happened.
To her and everyone else, that should be the case.
"Well, things in the Senate were as they always were. They were slow. Most of the senators are politicians rather than rulers who care for the good of the galaxy. They all sought how to fill their pockets more, rather than how to uplift the world from the crisis it was facing", my master cursed under her breath.
"The Senate didn't give what the Queen of Naboo wanted. So, she called for the Impeachment of the Supreme Chancellor, citing his inabilities in light of recent events. Now, Senator Palpatine would be a prime candidate to become the next chancellor, though there are other candidates, which could help Naboo quickly, as Palpatine is from Naboo".
"Though that was the case, the queen couldn't stay behind and wait for a proper response. She was adamant about returning to Naboo and taking back the world. So, we four were assigned to them until the conflict ends", she said to me.
I nodded at my master, said goodbye to my friends, as we might not see each other for a while and followed my master.
It was almost time for the duel with Maul, the turning point of this galaxy.
