Chapter 19 - Space Stone Location?

After placing "The Complete Guide to Card Magic" on the desk, Carlotta flipped through her intelligence system. She wasn't looking at today's intelligence but rather reviewing the training methods for the Elven Knight Manual Path.

The morning holiday was, of course, to be used for proper training.

In Carlotta's view, it wasn't just Soren who harbored resentment towards her.

Outside the academy, there were also accomplices of the wanted criminals she had reported, who were now targeting her. Therefore, she had to quickly improve her strength.

Although she was in Caerwyn Academy, where no one could easily do anything to her, she couldn't stay in Caerwyn Academy forever, could she? Moreover, was it really safe inside the academy?

After all, she had been attacked just last night, which left her with a sense of urgency.

With a serious expression, Carlotta held the Rose Thorn and continuously swung it.

The sound of the rapier slicing through the air echoed in the dormitory all morning.

In the afternoon, Carlotta reluctantly went to class.

During the class, she glanced a few times at Avery Clarke.

The merchant's daughter indeed didn't remember what happened last night and was still discussing Soren's expulsion with others, expressing some surprise about it, completely unaware that she herself was the person involved.

'I remember giving her a stab last night, causing quite a bit of blood, but it seems she has recovered?'

Carlotta thought to herself.

Compared to knight techniques, magic was more diverse, and there were quite a few spells for healing injuries.

Caerwyn Academy, known as the fifth academy of Kestholm, naturally had no shortage of Transcendents skilled in this path of magic.

As long as one wasn't killed on the spot, the academy should be able to save them, and no obvious scars would be left.

...

The afternoon classes were nothing noteworthy, everything was as usual.

When night fell, Carlotta had dinner and soon fell into a deep sleep in the dormitory.

Because she hadn't slept the previous night, she went to bed particularly early today.

When she woke up, the first rays of dawn had not yet appeared on the horizon, and the vast imperial capital Kestholm seemed to be shrouded by a huge curtain.

"What time is it..."

After drawing the curtains, Carlotta's gaze fell on the towering clock tower in the academy.

The clock tower's hands were fluorescent, making them clearly visible even at night, allowing her to quickly realize that dawn was not far off.

She no longer felt sleepy and immediately turned on the crystal lamp, letting its hazy light dispel the darkness in the dormitory.

This exquisitely crafted alchemical product wasn't something that could be widely available, but in Caerwyn Academy, every dormitory was equipped with one.

Carlotta went to the bathroom to wash up, then opened the system to check today's intelligence.

There were eight pieces of intelligence today.

[ 1: Soren Carlisle harbors resentment towards Carlotta White and specifically arranged for someone to investigate Carlotta's family situation. Upon learning that Carlotta was already homeless, and unable to vent her anger on Carlotta's family, she smashed several vases in frustration.]

Just the first piece of intelligence made Carlotta's blood pressure rise.

She couldn't help but curse, "Damn Soren!"

Although she currently had no family and thus no one to bear the brunt of Soren's anger, Soren's actions still infuriated her.

Where had she ever offended Soren?

Not at all, right?

In fact, she had even helped Soren by delivering an invitation through Perri to Dean Viviana Richards. She had even assisted her!

But in the end, how had she been treated?

Not only had there been no apology for the previous incident, but Soren even sought to retaliate against her family. Was this the conscience a normal person should have?

Carlotta had never overlooked someone so much before; Soren was the first.

Taking a deep breath, Carlotta moved on to the second piece of intelligence.

This piece of intelligence was also related to Soren!

[ 2: Through connections, the Carlisle family made Soren Carlisle a transfer student at Victoria Academy. Although Soren's expulsion from Caerwyn Academy made some at Victoria Academy wary and eager to understand the reason for her expulsion, under the influence of Viscount Carlisle, Victoria Academy ultimately decided not to inquire too much into Soren's past.]

Carlotta frowned.

Victoria Academy, along with Black Emperor Academy, Elizabeth Academy, and Kestholm Academy, were known as the four major Transcendent academies of the imperial capital Kestholm, holding significant influence throughout the Wendell Empire and being the desired institutions for millions of Transcendents seeking education.

Soren had actually transferred to this academy?

Carlotta was a bit puzzled. If Soren could have entered Victoria Academy from the start, why had she come to Caerwyn Academy in the first place?

Perhaps she could find the answer to this question from Amelia.

[ 3: Estelle Marlowe was very happy because she also received compensation from the Carlisle family, obtaining a Rose Wand that could be considered an alchemical marvel. This alchemical item came from Charlotte Workshop, one of the five major alchemical workshops, and Estelle was very satisfied.]

[ 4: Amelia Fenwick slept soundly today, having finally retrieved the photo she had been longing for. Before sleeping, she secretly vowed while looking at the photo to bring her deceased mother back into this world.]

[ 5: Bram Vortiger and others have been searching for the money their boss had hidden. However, because their boss was reported and imprisoned by Carlotta White, they couldn't find out where the money was hidden. Little did they know, their boss had already used the money to buy a space stone, which was now hidden under a tree in the imperial capital Kestholm, opposite 45 Firefly Street in the Spice District.]

"Gasp..."

Carlotta took a sharp breath, instantly wide awake.
