As Benimaru put Ginny inside the incubation chamber, he suddenly felt that someone had arrived on the island, like how he had felt Ginny's arrival. When he looked for the presence, he noticed that it did not contain a single malice towards the island, but he was feeling full of concern and love. Benimaru felt that he was also anxious to find someone, as he continued to observed the person, he also noticed that the aura of Law and Wolf approaching the person he detected, Benimaru then decided to leave Ginny in the incubation chamber, with her connected to a gas mask as she was having her genes edited.
Benimaru then go out of the lab and flew towards the presence he felt, the figure was now in forest part of the island and he was always turning his head as it was still looking for someone, the moment Benimaru approached, he then saw the whole figure of the mysterious presence he felt and recognized him as Kuma, the 2nd hand of Revolutionary and one of the character in One Piece that have the most tragic backstory. Benimaru then concluded that Kuma must be looking for Ginny, as it was the only logical explanation on why Kuma was here, so Benimaru approached him.
"Yow, looking for someone?" Benimaru landed and just asked Kuma, who just looked at him.
"Yes, have you seen a pink-haired woman?" Kuma asked, with a deep voice but noticeably smooth talking.
"Follow me, I'll bring you to her," Benimaru then said as he led Kuma towards the hidden laboratory. While walking, Kuma then thanked Benimaru for his help.
"You have my forever gratitude for your help with my friend, you don't know how much she means to me, and as a compensation, you can ask me anything as a favor, and I would do my best to fulfill it," Kuma then offered, as it was a payment for Benimaru helping Ginny,
"I want to learn how to use armament haki. I already have the observation haki, but I don't know why, but I can't seem to use Armament haki," Benimaru then said without any hesitation, as it was one of the things that are requirements for a strong man, as he knew that Zephyr, who was not a Conqueror's Haki user was able to become a marine Admiral due to the Armament haki, he was sure that he has conquerors but it was still not awakened so he wanted to start with Armament first.
"Is that all you wanted?" Kuma asked, making sure that it was all the request of Benimaru, without even asking.
"And I want to study your blood and your Devil Fruit, maybe I can create a clone of you, that can help you're cause," Benimaru then added, it was his main request as he knew that Kuma's lineage is strong.
"Is that all?" Kuma asked again, without slight hesitation, he knew that his bloodline being cloned was a dangerous thing, but he could feel that Benimaru was a trustworthy person, he also did not consider anything at all, just wanting to repay the favor towards Benimaru.
"Yes, that's all, I know that you were just trying to repay the debt you think you owed for me helping your friend, but I would make sure that you would benefit from my findings, you and whatever group behind you have," Benimaru said, ensuring that his research would also benefit the Kuma.
After 10 minutes of walking, they arrived at the laboratory. Ginny was currently unconscious as she was undergoing genetic editing, which would be incredibly painful, so Benimaru kept supplying her an anesthesia to keep her under. Kuma, who saw Ginny in the tank, had a sad expression on his face, a face full of worry and guilt was present in his face.
"Don't worry, once the gene editing was finished, Ginny would be alright, her strength would even get stronger," Benimaru comforted Kuma, who was still looking at Ginny.
"What kind of treatment is she undergoing?" Kuma then asked, curious about what was happening to Ginny.
"She has a disease that affects and changes her whole genetic composition, then it causes her DNA to mutate and be affected, which is what causes her skin to grow sapphires like that. Now, for the cure, I took a sample of her blood and analyzed the traits of her DNA strands. After I observed the changes in her DNA, I created a healthy RNA that would allow her to consciously use the sapphire scales without affecting her and harming her, meaning that she would be able to use the Sapphire Scales as protection, like how a devil fruit works, transforming her into a Crystal Human, the only difference is that she can't awaken the ability," Benimaru then explained what he did to help Ginny towards Kuma, who just looked at Benimaru with admiration as he can't even understand the basics of what Benimaru was saying much less apply it in person, but all he knows is that Ginny was in good hands.
"Where did you learn how to do all of this?" Kuma then asked,
"Here, I found this lab and read the books and research journals that they have collected, it was easy to understand. Here, let me show you one of my latest creations." Benimaru then invited Kuma to showcase his invention, while Kuma hesitated as he didn't want to leave Ginny alone.
"Don't worry, the latest she would wake up is at least 1 week from now, plus I set an alarm that would detect if she woke up based on her vitals that would immediately alert us," Benimaru assured Kuma, as he knew that Kuma was worried about Ginny. Kuma then left the laboratory with Benimaru, as Benimaru brought him towards the place where he developed the engine that he would use for the submarine that he was developing with Wolf.
"This is called Seawater engine 420, it was capable of carrying a 1,000-ton boat with a speed of 1,000 knots, and it uses seawater to generate its power and electricity, I also used my devil fruit to amplify this become durable as it can run at its maximum speed for more than 100 years straight before this engine have a wear and tear problems," Benimaru explained the function and greatness of his mind, while Kuma's amazement just increased further.
"I am a member of Revolutionary army, we are directly fighting against the world government, and as current Commander of the Revolutionary Army, I would like to formally extend my invitation as we needed individuals that have your brain and righteousness to do the right thing," Kuma said as he decided to try and recruit Benimaru to their cause, thinking that Benimaru would be a great addition to their army.
"I'm not interested in joining Revolutionary army, but I have a grudge towards the Celestial Dragons, so despite me not joining, I'll help and support you in any way I can," Benimaru answered, as he did not want to live his days on hiding like what the Revolutionary does, he wanted to fight against the emperors of the sea, he also wanted to fight against the Marines.
"I understand, but starting from now, I would personally thank you for every assist and help that I know you would provide." Kuma then thanked Benimaru, as despite not joining, he could tell that Benimaru would follow through with his promise.
