[Matthew's POV]
All I wanted was to bury my face in some boobs while drinking a few beers. But for some reason, I was in a forest hunting Goblins with three Dwarfs.
"Do we really have to do this?" I knew the answer, but I still wanted to show my displeasure.
Who was the boss here anyway?
"Don't worry, Boss. The Goblins here are all Bronze Rank 1. They won't even scratch your Robe's barrier," one of the twins said.
Right, like that was supposed to make me feel better.
"Here they come!"
Tomas shouted, scaring the hell out of me.
"Let the Boss go first."
The other twin said, shoving me forward.
Weren't these bastards supposed to be protecting me?
Before I could even protest, I was already surrounded by Goblins. This was the end. My adventure in this world would end today.
Killed by terrifying Goblins, this was not how I dreamed of dying here.
I wanted to live my whole life with Lilian and die with my face buried between her legs, but all those dreams were over now.
I just closed my eyes, waiting for the end.
But nothing happened. I only heard the sound of weapons clashing against something massive.
"Told you, Boss. Your Robe's defenses are way too strong for these poor creatures."
When I finally mustered the courage to open my eyes, I saw a translucent golden barrier surrounding me. The Goblins couldn't get through.
Still, the situation was nerve-wracking.
"Come on, Boss, kill one already, or those two won't let us leave!" Tomas shouted to rush me.
I drew my sword. I had no idea what to do with it. I pointed it at the torso of one Goblin and stabbed.
The sword pierced his chest like a hot knife through butter. But what impressed me the most was the system message:
[Ding!]
[1 goblin kill: 10 XP]
[Alert: Since Host has no combat class equipped, XP will be redirected to Warrior Harem level-up]
Yes, I had just discovered a way to earn XP to power up the girls. No way I was going to waste that.
I pulled the sword from the first Goblin's chest and went straight to the second.
Drawing a much less graceful arc in the air than I had imagined, my sword cut the second Goblin in half at the chest.
That weapon was really good. Tomas knew what he was doing.
"Pay to win is next level," someone muttered in the background.
I heard that, you bastards.
Screw it, now I was excited. I kept swinging my sword wildly.
Time to farm some XP.

[Tomas's POV]
"Shouldn't we at least give him some basic instructions? That looks ridiculous."
I asked the others, speaking low so Mr Matthew wouldn't hear.
"Let him have his fun. If he wants later, we'll give him some lessons," Romeu replied.
Well, since I was here, I might as well stock up on some Essence.
I joked that Mr Matthew was paying to win, but the new axe he bought me was also an amazing weapon.
Those Goblins didn't stand a chance.
I focused Essence into my leg muscles and propelled myself forward. A horizontal arc of my axe and the first Goblin's head flew into the air.
Another one attacked me from the right, too slow.
Before he could even start swinging his weapon, I was already charging at him at full speed. A single strike and his guts spilled from his belly.
I could never get rid of that strange feeling.
My dwarf blood boiled, savoring the frenzy of battle. Each kill tasted like the finest liquor.
My human side, however, agonized in despair, begging to run as far from the slaughter as possible.
Today, I was in no danger; the enemy was too weak, so my dwarf side would have its long-awaited feast.
One after another, Goblin bodies piled around me.
Five, ten, twenty… who was counting?
My blood boiled, and my blade wanted more, much more.
I don't know how much time passed. I had long lost track of my surroundings.
But suddenly, there were no more Goblins.
I finally stopped to catch my breath. When I looked around, a massacre.
Romeu and Remi were already picking through the little loot the bodies had to offer.
Mr Matthew looked at me with a face that was a mix of horror and awe.
What had I done?

[Matthew's POV]
I had gotten tired quickly. I'd killed 25 Goblins and was exhausted. At least I got 250 XP. Which, in my opinion, was impressive.
That was definitely a valid way to farm XP.
Then I looked to the side and saw a scene that shocked and impressed me at the same time. Tomas was mutilating Goblins one after another with an almost poetic grace.
Every move he made was calculated and flawlessly executed.
His figure blurred, and a goblin's head flew through the air. He reappeared, pivoting with the elegance of a dancer, and blurred again. Two more heads are flying.
I wasn't the only one impressed. It wasn't just some amateur watching someone with decent skills.
The twins were also stunned by what they saw.
"I figured he had hidden potential, but not this much," one of them said.
"Yeah, the kid's way more skilled than his level shows," the other replied.
"A few months focused on gathering Essence, and he'd hit Silver Rank easily," the first one commented.
"I had no idea he had this kind of talent," I said.
"Well, you've got a diamond in the rough at your disposal, Mr. Matthew."
That was something to consider. No way I'd include Tomas in the Harem just to transfer XP to him, I wasn't that desperate.
But maybe organizing more monster hunts like this was a good idea.
Only when he butchered the last Goblin did Tomas snap out of his trance. He was drenched in blood from head to toe.
He didn't even look like the same kid.
"You're gonna need a bath before we go to the brothel," I said to him, joking.
"Why not do both at once? If we enter the city through the southwest gate, there's a bathhouse that offers massages with a happy ending," one of the twins said.
Now that was speaking my language.
Next stop, a hot bath and some boob squeezing.
