Teaching Tolerance
***Arin's POV***
The voices of the First Ones struck us like ice-based thunder.
"THE EXPERIMENT IS NOW OVER."
However, an impossibility occurred before their cosmic power could reach us.
My infants burst out laughing.
Pure, happy laughter, not frightened giggling, reverberated through the blackness of space like the most exquisite music ever composed.
"What are you doing?" I urgently whispered to them.
In her starlight form, love spun. "Mama, we're not giving up. We're heading to school.
"What school?" I inquired, perplexed.
Faith's silver light pulsed brightly. "When we get home, you'll construct the school. the one in which everyone gains knowledge collectively.
Hope's radiance matched her sisters'. "We were shown by the spirits! It's going to be incredible!"
The universe twisted around us once more before I could ask what they meant. We were back in the cave all of a sudden, but things had changed.
