"Aria..." One of the elderly alpha's called from his seat.
"I'll take care of it," she murmured as she cradled the baby close to her chest.
"It could be dangerous..."
"Or it could be a blessing, something we found and something that could help us," Aria argued again, the blue glow in her eyes lightening up, her eyes still glued on the baby who smiled instead of the cry she was expecting.
"Isn't that supposed to be — painful?" Caden asked, as he stared at the baby still smiling.
"Yes," Aria muttered. "We're keeping her,"
"But Luna..." An elder tried to argue.
"I said we are keeping her," she said with finality, leaving no other space for arguments.
"When do you plan on choosing an alpha Aria, you're not going to keep all three brothers around as your pet, do you? And do you even think you're fit to be called a Luna when you don't even have an alpha?" One of the Alpha's seated asked, staring straight at Aria and the brothers.
