A golden morning light filtered through the translucent dome ceiling of Haven's Training Hall, catching on the polished tiles and the faint stardust glimmer that trailed in the air after every punch, kick, or leap.
Two figures danced across the platform like shadows in sync.
One: Leo Foster, 16 years old now. Taller, sharper, a little stronger. The light in his eyes not just from his powers… but from purpose.
The other: Tyler Foster.
Their movements weren't just training they were poetry. Power controlled by memory. Precision sharpened by years of hardship.
"You've become much stronger than before," Tyler said, wiping a faint trace of sweat from his brow.
Leo grinned, brushing back his bangs.
"I have the best mentor, after all."
Tyler let out a small laugh.
"Flowering words, huh… that's smooth."
He reached out and messed up Leo's hair.
"Hey!" Leo protested, swatting his hand away.
