Aftermath: Aryan's Awakening
Aryan awakened at the mountain's edge, the ash clearing from the sky.
He sat up slowly, his head pounding.
There was a name on his lips lost. A sense of something unfinished. Someone.
But when he tried to reach for it nothing came.
He touched the pendant at his neck, the one Elanora had once given him in another life. But even that memory felt… false. As if it belonged to someone else.
Aryan (to himself): "Why does my chest hurt… like I've lost something I can't name?"
He didn't remember her face.
But a single tear fell down his cheek anyway.
Elanora Alone
Elanora stood at the mouth of the mountain as dawn broke. The world had been saved. The seals were shattered.
But she had lost him again.
Not to death.
To forgetting.
And somehow… that was worse.
She whispered into the wind:
Elanora: "If we're meant to meet again… let my memory find you."
She turned toward the horizon. Alone, but not broken. Because love like theirs did not truly die. It simply waited reborn in the spaces between stars.
