Yuuto Kiba was completely spent, seemingly unable to avoid the girl's attack. Even if it was just the hilt, it was still Excalibur; even that level of contact would incapacitate him.

But the expected attack didn't land. The hilt of the holy sword struck a frigid, obsidian blade, long and flowing.

"Arth… Arthas…"

Yuuto looked up with difficulty at Arthas, who'd appeared before him.

He knew he'd lost, completely. If Arthas hadn't intervened, the defeat would have been far more humiliating.

"Arthas… don't. We lost."

Rias frowned at Arthas's impulsive action. Losing wasn't shameful; their opponent wielded Excalibur, deadly to devils.

"Hey, hey, are we still fighting? It was supposed to be a sparring match, and because of Excalibur's advantage, our victory wouldn't have been legitimate anyway."

Irina attempted to mediate, but Arthas ignored her.

"Yuuto, how do you think you lost?" Arthas asked softly. Yuuto's expression was bitter.

"I was overconfident. During the fight, I abandoned my speed advantage and tried to wield power beyond my control."

Xenovia's words echoed in Yuuto's mind, bringing a grim smile to his face.

"Good. Recognizing your mistake so quickly isn't foolish." Xenovia responded condescendingly.

"Wrong. You lost because your weapon was inferior!"

Arthas's cold words stunned Yuuto and froze the smug look on Xenovia's face.

Before she could retort, Arthas's gaze fell upon her, laced with sarcasm.

"The top of the younger generation? In my opinion, without your holy swords, you're nothing. You said nothing can withstand your holy sword?"

"That's right, nothing can withstand my Excalibur·Destruction!" Xenovia retorted defiantly.

Without further words, Arthas rotated his wrist, turning the obsidian demonic sword that had blocked Xenovia's attack to face her directly.

A chilling aura spread through the barrier, causing Xenovia to frown slightly; she sensed the weapon's ominous nature.

"Let's see, then. Which is superior, your holy sword or my demonic sword?"

Seeing Arthas draw his divine weapon, seemingly to avenge Yuuto, Rias gasped. The greatsword before them was a terrifying weapon of calamity, surpassing even the Phoenix's flames.

"Since it's a demonic sword, it's no match for a holy sword. The Pawn the Angel specifically targeted, let's see what makes you so special!"

Xenovia sneered as Arthas approached.

She remembered the Angel's words. While she couldn't directly kill him, this was a good opportunity to assess his strength.

Without any flashy moves, Xenovia raised Excalibur·Destruction and charged.

True to its name, Xenovia's fighting style with the overwhelmingly powerful holy sword was one of absolute dominance, aiming to crush her opponent with sheer force.

But… what if the opponent's power surpassed her own?

The obsidian calamity sword swung, carrying a power capable of freezing souls.

Then, an eerie, pale blue light crisscrossed the sky.

Rias and the others involuntarily trembled. Despite the barrier, the surrounding temperature plummeted to a desperate level.

Xenovia's holy sword struck, even though frost had already coated her brow and hair.

The swords clashed, silently. Xenovia's hand trembled; her eyes widened in disbelief.

On Excalibur·Destruction, the point of contact with the obsidian greatsword, a thin line of beautiful ice-blue appeared, instantly spreading across the entire blade.

"Excalibur?"

Arthas smirked, Frostmourne vanishing from his hand. He ignored the distraught girl and turned away gracefully.

Excalibur was a sword of victory, a sword of oaths, not a tool for intimidation. Arturia would be furious to see her weapon used this way.

Thinking of the queen, so resolute and untouchable, a faint smile touched Arthas's lips.

"Xenovia… what's wrong?" As the barrier dissipated, Irina rushed to her side, concerned, seeing her companion kneeling, dazed, still clutching her sword.

"Xenovia…" Approaching Xenovia, Irina gasped, covering her mouth in horror.

In Xenovia's hand, Excalibur·Destruction was now laced with black cracks, spreading like a spiderweb across the massive blade. The beautiful blue lines had turned black.

"No…" Xenovia moaned.

"No, no, no!!!" She cried out, Excalibur·Destruction completely disintegrating into dust.

Excalibur… shattered!

Excalibur·Destruction, the supposedly invincible holy sword, was utterly destroyed.

"She fainted?" Arthas turned, surprised. The seemingly strong girl had fainted simply from the destruction of her weapon.

Just as he'd said. Her pride, strength, and aura were all built upon Excalibur. Without it, she was nothing.
