The Void saw his attack blocked, then shifted his target to Strange. He wanted to fight close-quarters. A powerful punch came, but Strange's third eye appeared, giving him super-fast reactions. Two golden shields appeared, holding it firmly.
Tree!
The pitch-black fist shattered the golden shields. Strange was thrown backward, but was held by his cloak. Strange looked at the Void with frustration. He wondered why all the villains that had appeared lately were so crazy.
Clea also looked at the Void nervously. The pressure was equivalent to Dormammu.
Kurohane raised an eyebrow. He was surprised by Strange's power. That punch was enough to kill a cow, but Strange was not hurt. Kurohane realized, today would be a serious fight. He put on armor made of Uru metal, an Infinity Gauntlet with six Infinity Stones, a Hydra shield of vibranium in his left hand, and an adamantium sword in his right.
This was Kurohane's strongest fight since his debut. He couldn't be careless. Strange felt confused, but he realized that in the Dark Dimension, he could use any dark magic.
Kurohane was not a black-hearted boss who was reluctant to pay. The dark energy was abundant, so he let Strange and Clea use it as much as they wanted. After all, the more they used the dark energy, their bodies and souls would slowly be eroded. In the end, Kurohane would get that 'money' back from them.
Thanks to Kurohane's support, Strange could hold his own against the Sentry. However, the longer the fight went on, Strange felt something was wrong. He glanced at Kurohane, who looked like a completely different person—wearing top-of-the-line equipment, even a fake Infinity Gauntlet complete with all the Gems. "This is outrageous!" Strange thought.
"Alright! If you can't handle it, get out of the way!" Kurohane exclaimed. The blade of his adamantium sword was shrouded in dark energy, slashing at the Sentry with a black blaze. Sparks flew on the Sentry's body, who retaliated with a fist. However, the vibranium shield blessed with the Shield of the Seraphim deflected the punch, making him lose his balance. Kurohane swung his sword again, cutting the same wound. Finally, a few drops of bright red blood flowed from the Sentry's body.
"How dare you wound the body of a God?!" The red light in the Sentry's eyes turned crimson. He appeared behind Kurohane, clenching his fists like sledgehammers.
Clang!
The vibranium shield once again held the blow, and its rebound force pushed the Sentry away.
"God? In that case, I've wounded a lot of gods!" Kurohane smiled amusedly. He hadn't entered the energy combat phase he excelled at. Just by relying on two dimensions to enhance his physical fitness, he could already match the Sentry. This proved that his base physique was a superhuman physique. However, he still needed equipment, because he didn't have a hobby of deflecting bullets with his face.
This close-quarters fight became a spectacle for Strange. He thought, "Is this how Kamar-Taj sorcerers fight?" He realized Kurohane was far superior to ordinary sorcerers; he was like a special forces soldier.
Thirty seconds later, Kurohane and the Sentry separated. The Sentry's body was shrouded in black flames. His wounds couldn't heal because the dark energy injected by Kurohane kept burning them.
"Why don't I feel your dark side? What are you hiding?" the Sentry asked, his eyes staring at Kurohane in amazement.
Kurohane laughed. "You're standing on my dark side, and you don't see it." Kurohane now understood the Sentry's problem: he lacked combat experience. His learning process was slow, he only relied on instinct. This showed Bob's limitations. His reality modification power was used by him and his Void side.
