Chapter 219 - Chapter 219

Facts proved that Bucky was just a piece of wood. He couldn't stop himself even with Kurohane's help right in front of him. Although Sabra was a little disappointed, she didn't give up. She knew that the trouble with President Ross was not over, and when she was free, she would still ask Bucky out.

Sam also made a request to Kurohane. He explained that Joaquin, the second-generation Falcon, was seriously injured and hoped Kurohane could help him.

Of course, that wasn't a difficult task for Kurohane. He channeled a ball of pure divine energy into Joaquin's body, healing all his wounds instantly. Joaquin became as excited as a chimpanzee just released from a zoo, only his wings were broken. Unfortunately, Kurohane didn't understand advanced technology very well.

With the help of his connections in Wakanda, Sam managed to get a set of vibranium wings, which would be a great help against the Red Hulk. Without them, he could be killed with just one punch!

When Ross transformed into a red monster at a press conference, Kurohane and Joaquin stood on the roof of a nearby building. Bucky wasn't there because he served as a council member for the Brooklyn District in New York, and this event took place in Washington. Even if he wanted to help, he couldn't.

"Mr. Kurohane, aren't you going down to help?" Joaquin asked anxiously. The White House was already in ruins, and Sam had been beaten to the ground.

"Why should I help?" Kurohane asked, remaining calm. "This is Sam's big moment. To be honest, this is happening because the copyright for the Hulk is no longer available. Why else would a classic villain like the Red Hulk have to fight him?"

"Huh? What copyright?"

"You won't understand, but don't worry. Nothing bad will happen. I can heal you easily. Even if Sam is killed, I can still save him. Don't worry!" Kurohane pulled out his phone and called Sabra.

"Hello? Quickly find someone to see President Ross's daughter. Maybe she can see her father for the last time... He won't die, but he'll spend the rest of his life in prison. That's right, the prison where the Falcon was once imprisoned! Visits to him will no longer be possible."

After hanging up, Kurohane looked at the agile Sam. He knew Sam was tough enough. During the Flag Smashers incident, the super-soldier serum they injected wasn't in vain. Sam and Walker had injected a copied and upgraded version of the serum that had no side effects.

They fought from the White House to the obelisk, and then to the park. With the vibranium wings, Sam had the ability to fight back. He could hurt the Red Hulk, but the Red Hulk's self-healing ability was too fast.

Kurohane knew that, besides the Sentinels, no one on the Thunderbolts team could cause significant damage to the Red Hulk. The helicopter's machine guns couldn't even pierce his skin, which proved everything!

When the Red Hulk attacked Sam's vibranium wings, kinetic energy began to accumulate. After taking a hard blow, the tips of the two vibranium wings pierced the Red Hulk's body like two knives. All the kinetic energy stored in the vibranium exploded in his body, causing a huge blast. Sam and the Red Hulk were sent flying, the surrounding trees were uprooted, and cars were sent flying. The scene was a complete mess.

A pair of white wings appeared behind Kurohane. He flew to the center of the chaos, pulled Sam out from under a car, and patted the dust off his body.

"Hey, bro, you can't sleep here. Your mission isn't over yet. Go and defeat your enemy!"

Sam: (Is this even human language?) "It's possible I've already tried my best?"

"You're Captain America now! You can't give up! Steve could fight all day! As his successor, you have to at least fight for half a day! Otherwise, I'll replace your shield with a Hydra shield!"

Kurohane casually stepped on Sam's shield lying on the ground, picked it up, and gave it back to him. He pushed Sam forward, who happened to be facing the Red Hulk who had just crawled out of a pit. Both were surprised.

"First rule of the Avengers: If you encounter an enemy you can't defeat, remember to start a therapy session immediately!" Kurohane's voice came from behind Sam. "Natasha once did this to the Hulk. Maybe you can too! Just tell him: 'The sun is getting low!'"

Sam had no choice. He dropped his shield and started talking to the Red Hulk. Maybe because the park was a place where General Ross often spent time with his daughter, he was successfully persuaded by Sam. Ross gradually returned to his human form.

Kurohane believed that Ross's return to human form was due to the Big Boss's pills. The pills did contain gamma radiation that transformed him, but the amount wasn't enough for a long-term transformation, unlike the Hulk who gets stronger when he gets angry. This version of the Red Hulk needed to consume gamma rays, and after Sam's attack, his energy was depleted, and he regained consciousness. Otherwise, he wouldn't have listened to Sam's nagging.

After everything was over, rescuers, police, and new agents packed up the human-form Ross and took him away. Sam and Sabra also went to the prison where the first black super-soldier, Isaiah, was imprisoned. He was imprisoned because he was controlled by the Big Boss and tried to kill Ross at the White House.
