Chapter 283 - Chapter 283: Toward the New Continent

"What is he doing..."

In the terrifying glow of his violet pupils, the God of Destruction stared with curiosity.

What Huo Yuhao did next even astonished the mighty enforcers of the Divine Realm—Destruction and Life themselves.

Suddenly, Huo Yuhao clasped both his hands together. One surged with the power of life, the other with destruction. The moment they met, the world trembled. His Creation-Extinction Eye erupted with light as two completely opposite forces clashed violently, releasing a torrent of creation energy between his palms.

"Is he... creating a world?" the Goddess of Life whispered in disbelief.

The God of Destruction shook his head slightly, then nodded. "Not quite... but he's already glimpsed a fragment of creation itself. Right now, he's shaping a miniature world based solely on his imagination."

"This little world likely won't last long. It'll collapse eventually. But for someone of his level to do even this—it's outrageous. We truly didn't choose the wrong heir, did we, Xiao Lu?"

The God of Destruction gazed at Huo Yuhao's image in the crystal orb, a rare smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Tang San really tossed away a treasure. This kid almost rotted in his hands."

The Goddess of Life covered her mouth with a soft laugh, saying nothing more.

In truth, she hadn't initially held the same disdain for Tang San as the God of Destruction. As a fellow Divine Realm enforcer, she once admired Tang San's righteousness. After all, he had been chosen by both the Sea God and the Asura God.

But when she discovered that Tang San had sent his own beloved daughter into the mortal realm, using her as bait to lure Huo Yuhao into inheriting his divine position, the compassionate goddess found her opinion beginning to shift.

The God of Destruction remained fixated on the small world Huo Yuhao had crafted. His expression suddenly darkened.

"Xiao Zi, what is it?" the Goddess of Life asked, noticing his reaction.

The God of Destruction didn't answer. He stared intently at the image inside the miniature world. "This... this is..."

The Goddess of Life followed his gaze. The moment she realized what it was that had unsettled him, her eyes widened too. Her hand shot up to her lips in shock.

"That looks like..."

"The Dragon God. But why would our heir recreate something like that?" the God of Destruction frowned deeply.

Indeed, what Huo Yuhao had created was a detailed illusion of the Dragon Valley—complete with the Dragon God's bones and lingering soul, just as he imagined them to be.

The perceptive Goddess of Life quickly pieced it together.

"He's trying to send us a message, isn't he?"

The God of Destruction paused, then took another look at the scene. His eyes brightened with sudden understanding.

"Exactly, Xiao Lu. That's it. He's telling us—somewhere on Douluo Continent, the remnants of the Dragon God truly exist!"

This time, it was the Goddess of Life who was confused. "But how? How could he know something of this level? Why send this to us?"

The God of Destruction stroked his chin, admiration in his eyes.

"You forget, Xiao Lu. Our successor possesses a prophetic sense of the future. He must have stumbled upon clues—maybe even saw it with that strange foresight of his. For someone like him, who commands the power of creation, the Dragon God's remains would be an extraordinary opportunity."

"If he could absorb the Dragon God's bones and soul, with his current level, becoming a god in one step isn't out of the question."

"But such a blessing also brings immense danger. That's why... he needs help. From beings like us. Don't you think my analysis is flawless, Xiao Lu?"

The Goddess of Life leaned over and kissed his cheek. "You're too clever, Xiao Zi. Then let's let our heir know—we've understood everything."

"Ugh... I'm exhausted."

Huo Yuhao collapsed onto the ground, soaked in sweat. In his mind, the warm voice of the Goddess of Life echoed:

"Go forth without fear, child."

All that exertion, all the will and power it had taken to shape that tiny world through raw Creation—at last, it paid off. The Divine Realm had responded.

"Then it's time... time to begin the voyage and bring it all to an end."

Huo Yuhao stood up, gazing into the distance, a solemn resolve in his heart.

He had a feeling—once he successfully absorbed the Dragon God's soul and remains, he would become peerless. It would also be the moment he stepped onto the true path of becoming the Creation God.

South Sea, Sun Moon Empire — Sunrise City.

"Salute to the Chief Designer!"

"Devotion! Loyalty!"

At this moment, docked in the vast port hosting the main fleet of the Sun Moon Empire's navy, countless steel titans lay anchored. Their presence was enough to strike fear into the hearts of any who saw them.

Battleships, destroyers, cruisers, and even aircraft carriers—every one built by Mingde Hall. On the decks of these monsters, tens of thousands of soldiers stood tall in gleaming white uniforms, facing the rising sun.

Led by the current Admiral of the Sun Moon Navy, Shi Dongsheng, they saluted the mastermind behind the entire naval expedition—the man who had built the navy from the ground up.

Their voices rang with awe and allegiance. The sight of so many iron giants and saluting soldiers stirred the blood like a war anthem.

And yet, standing amidst this grand spectacle, Huo Yuhao remained calm. He nodded slowly.

"Commander Shi, commence the expedition."

Shi Dongsheng, standing at his side, responded with fervor. "As you command! Chief Designer, please board the ship with me."

Huo Yuhao chuckled and followed him onto the modified battleship, Radiance.

"Commander Shi, there's no need to be so formal."

Shi Dongsheng shook his head seriously.

"Without your contributions to naval development, I wouldn't be where I am today. The Sun Moon Navy wouldn't exist. Look at this grand steel fleet. Tell me—what power in the oceans can stand in our way?"

"Now we set sail to a distant new continent. Nothing can stop us. For me, and all the soldiers under my command, there is no greater source of pride or passion."
