After about fifteen minutes of walking around and getting stalked, Nina finally had enough.
As much as she appreciated admiration, having one stalker in the form of her Patron was already more than enough.
She didn't need another trailing behind her in silence. Her Patron agreed wholeheartedly.
[You don't need other people following you around. One of me is plenty.]
He said, sounding almost offended on her behalf.
"I know, right?"
Nina muttered under her breath, annoyed but trying not to show it outwardly.
In an effort to shake the girl off, Nina ducked into a nearby gaming café. It was her usual spot, a familiar place where she had spent countless afternoons.
She hoped the sudden turn and crowded atmosphere would throw the shy girl off her trail.
But, no such luck.
The girl slipped in behind her with the same silent steps, blending into the environment like she belonged there.
