Yin Chen slammed his hand on the table and pointed at Jia Lingyi angrily.
He never thought that she would have the guts to challenge him.
"How dare you, Jia Lingyi, are you accusing the company of doing something to you? Do you know how many losses you have caused the company ever since your scandals started?"
Jia Lingyi stared right back at Yin Chen. In this life, she had no one else to fight for her benefits and so she would need to fight for herself.
"You know very well what the company has done to me, CEO Yin. Do you think that you are going to win if I decide to pursue this legally?"
Yin Chen, on the orders of his sister, had hired internet ghostwriters to spread all kinds of nasty rumors about her.
Yin Chen never knew that Jia Lingyi knew of these things.
As he stared into her cold bottomless eyes, he knew that she would not let this go easily..
Song Yan looked from Jia Lingyi to Yin Chen, a smile on his face .
He had come here to support Jia Lingyi, however, she obviously did not need it.
Song Yan leaned back into his chair, watching how this was going to play out.
Yin Chen smirked, although Jia Lingyi was not as stupid and timid as he thought she was, she was still just a child.
There was no way a person who was still green behind the ears would be able to go against him, right?
"Do you have any proof of what you are saying, Jia Lingyi? Do you think that anyone is going to listen to you if you don't provide any substantial evidence?"
A proud smile spread out on Jia Lingyi's face. Evidence? Things like that had never mattered in the entertainment industry!
"You should know that you don't need evidence to spread damaging rumours, CEO Yin!"
Yin Chen leaned back in his chair, a cold smile spreading on his face.
Jia Lingyi was not one to be taking lightly, obviously.
"CEO Shen, I hope my interests will be protected by the company!"
Unwilling to continue the conversation anymore, Jia Lingyi stood up, making her way out of the office.
Song Yan got up and rushed after her, still in awe of Jia Lingyi.
She had led the entire conversation, and he didn't even need to say anything.
Has Jia Lingyi always been this assertive?
Just know, she had given him the same feeling as that person!
Jia Lingyi was deep in thought, she knew she had to leave this company, however, she could not be too rash!

Yin Roulan's hands were gripping the iPad tightly. She watched the video over and over again.
Even though she badly wanted to lie to herself and say that this was a fluke, she knew that was just not true.
There was nothing that was a fluke about this.
The truth was that, Jia Lingyi was just that good.
She was no longer some annoying character that she could not stand, Yin Roulan finally realized that Jia Lingyi was a rival she needed to get rid of in no time!
"Just look at this. That Jia Lingyi is really shameless! She really took a video of herself singing and uploaded it on the internet! She is trying to create a buzz for herself only! After everything she's done....I can't believe that she's this shameless! Is she trying to throw our group under the bus?!"
Chen Ai had seen the video, and she was even the one who told Yin Roulan about it.
The video was grainy and it was obvious that it was not taken from a good angle.
However, anyone could see that it was Jia Lingyi.
That bitch was enjoying fame because of it now!
"Chen Ai, the person who uploaded the video said that he is a trainee at our company. Jia Lingyi was not the one who uploaded it. Why are you blaming her for this?"
Li Mian did not have any major opinions about the video of Jia Lingyi circulating online.
In fact she felt a bit excited for Jia Lingyi.
At least the fans were no longer cursing at her. They had something else to talk about.
However, Chen Ai was definitely not happy.
And judging from the dark look on Yin Roulan's face, it seemed like she was not happy either.

Suddenly, Yin Roulan's iPad fell off her hand.
They all turned to look at her worriedly.
"Roulan, are you okay?!" Chen Ai was by her side in no time, comforting her.
Yin Roulan forced a smile on her face.
"Of course....of course....I'm okay" the forced man made her look even uglier, however none of the other girls dared to point it out.
Mei Zixia picked up the iPad that had fallen from Yin Roulan, and she smirked when her eyes saw what she had been reading.
"Have you guys seen the comments about the video question mark it seems that the fans have really taken it well. For once, Jia Lingyi is not getting cursed out!"
"Why didn't I know that Jia Lingyi was such a good singer in the past? I always thought that she was placed in the group because of her looks. Obviously she has some talents!"
Mei Zixia started to read out the comments.
"Don't bash me and I am not trying to create hate, but am I the only one who thinks that Jia Lingyi sings it better than Meng Shuyan?"

Chen Ai, a dark look on her face grabbed the iPad away from and threw it on the couch.
"What the heck is wrong with you?! Can't you see that Roulan is sad?!"
Mei Zixia looked up at Yin Roulan, her thoughts hidden behind her deep blue eyes.
"Roulan, why are you sad? I think this is really good for the group. Lingyi has always been getting hate. People are finally noticing her talent and our group is only going to get better and better from here on. Isn't that something that you should be happy about?"
Mei Zixia looked at Yin Roulan directly as she said this, a playful smirk on her face.
Yin Roulan feeling stuck, nodded her head slowly.
"Yes, this is good for the group!" She forced herself to say.
"What do you mean Mei Zixia? She is just an opportunist, taking advantage of the company to make waves to promote herself! She's disgusting!"
Chen Ai thought of how Jia Lingyi was getting so many compliments, and she saw red.
"Don't worry, Chen Ai. I plan on making many more waves in the future!"
