Xia Mengqi...Xu Shengyu had always wanted to get engaged to her.

Yan Hua looked away from Xu Shengyu, hiding away all of the storms in her heart.
Her entire life, she had been compared to Xia Mengqi and told that she was just not good enough!

Xu Shengyu walked out of the hospital, a blank look on his face. His phone rang as he made his way to his car.
"What?" His voice was cold as he picked up the call.
"CEO....the....the police have been searching....they haven't found Yan Hua's body just yet....her family members....well, they are demanding for her body. They said they want to bury her in their hometown!"
The phone fell from Xu Shengyu's hand, his heart beating fast against his chest.
He had almost forgotten about this!
Since he had announced that Yan Hua was dead, he needed to provide a body!
However.....Xia Mengqi actually burned to death in the fire.
Shouldn't her body be there?
What was going on?
Why couldn't the police find a body?
They were many thoughts going through his head.
"CEO, CEO, are you there?" The person on the phone called out.
Xu Shengyu picked up his phone, and his expression was back to normal.
"I will handle this," he said and ended the call.
He had to provide a body. And he had to do it fast!

Song Yan stared at the expressionless face of the girl beside him, his heart aching for her.
He should have known that something like this was going to happen.
After all, she had somehow offended someone that she could not afford to offend.
He was here to help as much as he could, because he could not stand seeing a talent like her being wasted, however, in his current condition, there was not much that she could do.
"Don't worry too much, Lingyi. Although Yin Chen is the CEO , and Yin Roulan's brother, you signed a contract with the company. They can't just do whatever they want. Besides, the released video has brought a lot of popularity to Shimmer. They can't do much to you," Song Yan was trying to convince himself more than he was trying to convince Jia Lingyi.
Jia Lingyi turned to the panicky man beside her, and a smile formed on her face.
Did he think that she was scared?
"Instructor Song, are you worried about me?" She asked him playfully.
Song Yan looked at her, a puzzled look on his face.
He wanted to ask Jia Lingyi why she looked so relaxed, but then he thought to himself that she probably did not understand what was going on.
She had barely been in the industry for a few years and she had no idea how dark and twisted everything was behind the scenes.
He had been her age too, and until a few years ago, he had just been as fearless as she was.
"Don't worry too much. Yin Chen is not a stupid person. He is someone who will maximise the benefits that he can get through most. The video released didn't cause any harm to the company or Shimmer, instead it increased your popularity! He would need to think twice before he does anything to you!" Song Yan assured Jia Lingyi again.
Jia Lingyi shook her head, still smiling. She wanted to tell Song Yan that she was not worried at all, but she held back her tongue.
Glancing at Song Yan again, she wondered why she had not realised he was such a panicky person in the past.
The Song Yan that she had met as Xia Mengqi was someone who was cold and unbending.
"Come in," a cold voice sounded just then, and Jia Lingyi's eyes darkened.
Yin Chen, CEO of the entertainment current she was currently signed to, she knew that person well.
He was the orchestrator of everything that happened to the original Jia Lingyi, after all.
Jia Lingyi sat beside Song Yan, both of them facing Yin Chen.
Jia Lingyi realized that Yin Chen was a man in his late twenties at most, and although he tried his best to hide his dangerous aura, Jia Lingyi could still sense it.

"Mind explaining this, Miss Jia? Don't you know that it is against the contract for you to do things to promote yourself without the company's permission?" Yin Chen's voice was calm, but it carried a coldness that was enough to freeze anyone.
Jia Lingyi leaned back on the chair, her eyes cold.
She was not backing down easily like before, and Yin Chen realized it was wise for that sister of his to be weary of this Jia Lingyi.
"I know that, and I also know that it's a breach of contract when the company directly sabotages any of it's artists!"
