"Perfect" by British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.
"I found a love for me
Oh, darling, just dive right in and follow my lead
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
Oh, I never knew you were the someone waitin' for me
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love, not knowin' what it was
I will not give you up this time
Oh, darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own
And in your eyes, you're holding mine
Baby, I'm dancin' in the dark with you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass while listenin' to our favourite song
When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it, "Darling, you look perfect tonight""
...…
I finished singing, and from the other side of the soundstage glass, I saw Alison break into a standing ovation. She hurried into the recording room and announced with characteristic zeal, "We urgently need a video for this song! It would be a great promotional stunt and would help boost the popularity of your upcoming album."
Hmm, I should think about the theme of the video. It would be ideal if the events in the video took place in winter. After all, it's December, and Christmas is just around the corner.
"Come on, Alex, think about it!"
I had to agree with her suggestion—it sounded reasonable. I had been considering making a video myself, and I knew that at this time of year, nothing would be more fitting than a snowy theme. Without thinking twice, I decided it would be best to stick with the original idea for the video from the past. Ed Sheeran filmed the video in Austria on the Hintertux Glacier, where there is a ski resort at an altitude of three thousand meters.
Why shouldn't I film there too? I don't think it would take long; three days should be enough. I instructed Alison to contact our regular partner, the Platinum film crew. They agreed, and the very next day, we were ready to fly to Austria. It's great when you have a lot of money and it's easy to arrange a location.
The only thing left was to decide who would play the main character's girlfriend. Without much hesitation, I chose Harley Quinn for this important assignment. I have no doubt she'll perfectly portray the cheerful and sweet girl the song's character is in love with. But that, of course, isn't the only reason for my choice. I've often considered how to change society's attitude toward the Joker's former flame for the better.
No matter how sweet and likable the harlequin may be, in people's hearts, she still remains a crazy villain from Gotham. You can't change the masses' consciousness overnight, unless you use hypnosis, but I'm not capable of that, which is a shame.
Therefore, you need to win them over gradually, step by step, and ultimately achieve your goal. Harley's role in a popular video certainly won't change people's opinions of her, but at least they will be more open to her growth and more easily accept the fact that she's changed for the better, leaving her life as a villain behind.
I was glad to have the opportunity to spend more time with Miss Quinzel. The clown is a very active girl and can't sit idle for long. She needs to be busy; otherwise, her bright head starts to go crazy, thanks to the efforts of Madness. Therefore, filming the video should help cool the harlequin's ardor for a while.
Austria greeted us with fine weather, magnificent alpine landscapes, tourist towns, and amazing villages dotted across the flat meadows. Snow-covered, forest-shrouded mountains, high snowy ridges and massifs, and glacial expanses attracted a huge number of skiers from all over the world.
The hospitality of the locals, the natural beauty, and the long, picturesque slopes left an indelible mark on everyone, and many returned the following year. Although our visit to this country was short, we were able to fully enjoy its majestic beauty and comfortably spend our time. The video was filmed in the Ziller Valley—a more perfect location for a cozy, romantic video. Harley convincingly played the protagonist's childhood friend, which delighted everyone. She infused the entire crew with positivity; everyone laughed and giggled, though sometimes it took a lot of effort to get back into character. It turned out Quinn had never skied before, so I had to help her master the basics of the sport.
Thanks to her natural flexibility and great skill, she quickly mastered the art of skiing. Another challenge the film crew faced was finding a suitable mountain cabin for the final scene. This nearly caused a major setback to our schedule, but fortunately, it didn't come to that.
We found the perfect location just in time for the final day of filming—a secluded cabin covered in fluffy snow, a classical guitar, the dim yellow glow of an antique lantern, and two people dancing in the dark; the director crafted a complete set of elements to create a tear-jerking finale. I sat by the window, playing a leisurely melody on the guitar, while Harley sat across from me, delightedly listening to the lyrics I sang for her.

....
Well, I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know
She shares my dreams, I hope that someday, I'll share her home
I found a love to carry more than just my secrets
To carry love, to carry children of our own
We are still kids, but we're so in love, fightin' against all odds
I know we'll be alright this time
Darling, just hold my hand, be my girl, I'll be your man
I see my future in your eyes
.....
I've found a woman stronger than any other,
She shares my dreams, I hope one day we'll share a home.
I've found a love that will help me carry the weight of my secrets,
Bear love, raise our children.
We're still children ourselves, but we love so much.
Even if everything is against us, I know we'll make it this time.
Darling, just hold my hand,
Be mine, and I'll be with you,
'Cause in your eyes, I see my future.
Inspired, Harley threw herself into my arms as soon as the director's voice and the word "cut!" rang out.
Everyone was genuinely happy and congratulated each other on the successful completion of filming. We went outside and, under the falling flakes of fluffy snow, began to play snowballs, letting go of all worries and doubts, for today was the last day of our little adventure in this snowy country.
