Damian: Exactly. A profession doesn't define friendship. Personality does.
Interviewer (gives an awkward smile, looking away, trying to think of a comeback but finding none).
Interviewer: So... are you defending a friend, even if it means breaking the hearts of millions of your fans?
Damian (calmly): She's a fan too.
And as someone they all look up to — it's my duty to protect every fan.
If you were my friend, I'd do the same.
[BACKSTAGE – LOW WHISPERING, CAMERA CREW LISTENING IN]
Woman 1 (raising an eyebrow): Oh, he's clever. I heard that right.
Woman 2: Heard what?
Woman 1: That the media can't outplay him — but he can outplay them if he wants.
That's why so many interviewers try to wrap things up the moment he says, "Can I ask a question?"
His words hit too deep.
Some even say, if he wasn't an actor, he'd be the kind of interviewer who could extract secrets no one else could.
Woman 2 (impressed): Wow... seriously?
[MR. MAH WATCHES FROM THE SIDE – MUTTERS TO HIMSELF]
Mr. Mah:
He thinks he's playing with fire.
But he doesn't realize...
He's playing with a wildfire.
God help him.
Interviewer (laughs awkwardly, then coughs)
Damian (picks up a water bottle from the table and offers it with a slight smirk):
Here. I think you need this.
Interviewer (accepting it, trying to stay composed):
Thank you...
(He glances sideways — one of the crew members off-camera is subtly signaling him to wrap it up. The TRP is spiking, but the live comments are flooding in — most are supporting Damian.)
LIVE COMMENT SECTION:
Comment 1: I knew it. He's always loyal to us. 🥺💖
Comment 2: Anyone can say that. Where's the proof?
Comment 3: If you don't trust your idol, don't call yourself a fan.
Comment 4: When you're way up, people will always try to drag you down — 'cause they can't stand not being you.
Interviewer (smiles slyly):
But... what about the video and the photo?
Damian (calmly):
Can you show me that?
Interviewer (pulls out his phone):
Yeah, sure.
(The interviewer shows him the clip. Damian glances at it briefly, then casually takes out his own phone. He turns to the backstage crew, aims the camera, and snaps a picture of a male and female crew member standing close together.)
Damian (shows the photo to the audience):
Look — they're standing together. So I guess that means they're dating?
(Everyone laughs. The crew members in the photo blush and look away, flustered.)
Interviewer (confused):
What was that for?
Damian (grinning):
Hey, are you two together?
(He directs the question to the crew members.)
Better not be!
(The crew members quickly shake their heads "no.")
Damian (back to the interviewer):
Clicking a photo of two people standing next to each other doesn't mean they're in a relationship.
And she's my personal assistant — it's obvious she'll always be by my side.
Interviewer (leans forward):
And the video? You even said you don't care about the hate.
Damian (shrugs):
So?
Interviewer:
Why would you take hate... for just a personal assistant?
Damian (leans in, voice calm but firm): So I could sit here, right now, and tell my side of the story. Besides, it's not the first time I've been hated. I knew people would criticize it at first — but once you watch the full drama, you'll love it.
Interviewer: (laughs, clearly running out of questions)
Damian: Any more questions?
