The Toby's Family House
Railey Toby and her daughter Penellope are having discussion on which dress to choose for an event they were going to, as the fashion designer, a young lady about the age of Penellope, shows them different dress.
"I like this one, mom" Penellope said pointing to one of the dresses, a red armless gown, reveling the back.
"Is that not too revealing?" Railey asked with a frown
"Exactly mom, there is no place i will enter wearing this dress that eyes won't turn to look at me" Penellope explained her reason for choosing the dress.
"I'm still not okay with the dress, your husband family might get angry even if your husband is fine with it, and we need the help of the Bellick's family right now than ever" Railey said, saying the last part in a hush tone.
"Fine" Penellope said disappointedly.
"I can design the dress to be less revealing" the fashion designer suggested.
"And will it still be able to catch people's attention the way i want" Penellope asked
"Of course, we just need to add some gems to the edges of the cloth" The fashion designer explained.
"That will be a good Idea" said Railey "what do you think Penellope?" She asked
"I like the sound of gems" replied Penellope
"Then that's settled, I will send design to you when I'm done" said the fashion designer, before packing up her things and left.
Just after the fashion designer left, Tade Toby walked in with a red eyes, he looked disheveled, his look saying a lot about how stress he is.
"What happened to you husband?" Railey asked worriedly as she stood up and approached her husband.
"You happened Railey, you happened " Tade Toby answered angrily
"What! What did I do?" Railey asked confused, Penellope move towards her parents confused as well.
"You and your daughter " Tade Toby continued pointing at both mother and child. "What did you do to anger the top families?" He asked angrily
Railey and Penellope share a surprised and confused look, before saying at the same time "we did nothing!"
"Really? Then why I'm I losing every contract, and every top family business refusing to work with us? My siblings are really angry, they had one of our men investigate the matter and the only thing he could get is that my wife and daughter as done something to anger one of the top family "
Railey looked at Penellope with realization, then turn to her husband.
"It must be Grandma Gadon doing" Railey said
"And what the hell did you do to anger that woman?" Asked
"It was at the party, she was with Lola"
"Lola? Are you sure" Asked Tade Toby
"Yes, she was talking with Grandma Gadon when she saw us, she must have badmouth, and have Grandma Gadon hate us" Said Railey cornyly
"But why would Lola do that?" Asked Tade in confusion.
"I don't know"
Tade sigh, before walking towards door.
"Where are you going to?" Railey asked
"I can't just stand and do nothing, I have to do something " replied Tade Toby before walking out of the house. Railey turn to her daughter Penellope.
"I want you to ask Bradford, your husband to use his family connections to find out if this was really done by the Gadon's family "
"Yes mother"
