"Alright."
Barry hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
Zoom had crossed into Earth-1 several times to hunt him.
If Zoom learned Barry had come to Earth-2, he would definitely react.
And now—
With a monster like Alex on their side, Barry actually felt… confident.
BOOM!
With a sonic boom, Barry vanished—
leaving behind a streak of blazing red lightning.
Shhhhhh!
The red lightning flashed wildly across Earth-2's Central City.
At the same time, Alex's super-hearing expanded outward, sweeping across the entire Earth-2.
"The Flash? Did Earth-1's Barry Allen come here?"
"That fool is looking for death!"
Moments later, Alex's eyes lit up.
He had found what he wanted.
"I found Zoom."
Leaving that sentence for Wells and the others, Alex disappeared in a thunderous sonic boom.
"That's Alex's speed?!"
"He really is way faster than Barry!"
Cisco couldn't help gasping in awe.
Wells and Caitlin exchanged glances—
both seeing shock in each other's eyes.
"It seems Alex wasn't lying after all."
Indeed—
Human eyes couldn't track either Barry or Alex at full speed.
But the air pressure shock caused by Alex's acceleration was far stronger.
That alone explained everything they needed to know.
BOOM!
Meanwhile, Alex had already arrived in Earth-2's Central City.
Shhhhhh! Shhhhhh!
Two streaks of lightning—one red, one blue—intertwined through the city at impossible speeds.
It was unmistakably The Flash and Zoom.
---
"Flash, who gave you the courage to enter my universe?"
Zoom instantly caught up to Barry, icy killing intent in his voice.
"Your speed increased? No… you're still slow!"
Barry ignored the provocation.
He clenched his jaw, pushing his speed to the limit—
trying desperately to shake Zoom off.
But it was useless.
Zoom was glued to him, refusing to give even an inch of distance.
Like a curse.
Like death itself.
"Don't get cocky, Zoom… Someone's coming for you today."
Barry managed to growl back.
"Someone? Who? WHO can beat me?"
Zoom's voice was pure cruelty.
"Across two universes, I am the fastest!"
BOOM!
But before he could finish—
A new sonic boom exploded behind him.
A figure flickered into existence beside him.
Zoom's pupils shrank.
Another speedster.
He snapped his head to the side—
and saw an unfamiliar young face.
No mask.
No disguise.
"Who are you?"
Zoom demanded—
And then the shock in his eyes shifted into… delight.
Another speedster!
Perfect.
More speed for him to steal.
---
"This is your speed? Zoom? Pathetic… You crawl like a snail."
Alex's tone was pure disdain.
And even as he spoke, his telekinesis had already silently pressed the speed extraction device onto Zoom's suit.
Zoom didn't notice a thing.
"Snail…?"
Zoom sneered and vanished, accelerating sharply.
Instantly he left Barry in the dust.
But Alex blurred and vanished as well.
Matching Zoom effortlessly—
without losing even half a step.
Barry?
Barry was already a distant memory.
"Impressive. You're stronger than that useless Flash."
Zoom admitted—surprised.
He had reached 2,000 m/s, twice Barry's speed.
But this newcomer kept up.
"Let's see how fast you really are!"
Zoom snarled and accelerated further.
Three thousand.
Four thousand.
Four thousand five hundred.
That was his limit.
Absolute peak speed.
Yet Alex remained right beside him.
Unshaken.
Effortless.
"You… You're this fast?! Who ARE you!?"
Zoom finally panicked.
His own speed was the result of devouring countless speedsters—
including the Flash of another universe.
He held the title of "fastest in multiple universes."
So why could this stranger keep up?
No—
Judging from his relaxed posture…
He was even faster.
"Alex. Remember the name."
Alex's smile chilled Zoom to the bone.
"It'll be the nightmare that ends you."
"Hmph! I don't believe I can't outrun you!"
Zoom pushed harder—
but it didn't matter.
He couldn't shake Alex off.
Not even for a heartbeat.
---
"This… This is their speed…?"
Barry watched the chase from far, far behind.
Completely numb.
He knew Zoom was much faster than him.
He knew Alex was even faster.
But he never imagined the gap was this monstrous.
Compared to them—
He truly was a bicycle chasing sports cars.
He pushed his speed to the maximum.
And could only watch their lightning trails fade into the horizon.
BOOM BOOM BOOM!
BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Alex and Zoom raced across all of Central City.
Circling it again.
And again.
And again.
Until Zoom finally staggered to a stop—
gasping, exhausted, completely spent.
"Zoom, you'd better train harder."
Alex mocked him with a smirk—
Then blurred away in an instant.
