Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

Chapter: Hangovers, Secrets, and Messy Mornings

Jun was drunk—completely out of it.

He sat slouched at the bar counter, eyes glassy, cheeks flushed, and his words completely slurred. Yan sat silently next to him, equally drunk, but far more composed. Still, he watched Jun with unreadable intensity, his eyes sharp beneath his messy fringe.

As Jun swayed in his seat and blinked at Yan's serious expression, something strange stirred in him—like a flicker of a forgotten memory.

And then… blackout.

He fainted right there, falling limp against the counter.

Yan sighed heavily, then looked at Jun with an expression he hadn't shown anyone in years—one of deep emotion, maybe even… sorrow?

Without a word, yan reached for Jun's phone, unlocked it with his thumb while he was passed out, and found East's number.

He dialed.

East's voice answered, sharp and cold.

"Hello?"

Yan replied simply,

"Your friend's drunk. Passed out at the bar. Come get him."

He ended the call and walked away—not far—just to the shadows near the exit. Watching.

East arrived within minutes, furious and panicked. When he saw Jun slumped unconscious, he muttered under his breath,

"Idiot."

Even for him, it was too much to handle alone. So he called his bodyguards.

Within seconds, four men arrived.

Two carried Jun's arms. Two held his legs.

He was like a broken doll—out cold, mumbling nonsense.

They loaded him into East's car, and East drove him back to the mansion.

William was already home, lounging around shirtless and half-asleep. When East opened the door with Jun's limp body, William stood there, eyes wide.

"Why is he in our house?"

He rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"If he pukes on the carpet again, I'll actually kill him—"

"Shut up and help me," East snapped.

The Next Morning…

Jun blinked awake in a bright white room.

"Where… am I?"

He looked around. The clean walls, the luxurious bed…

"Wait. This place… looks familiar…"

Then his eyes fell on William—curled up on the floor like a punished cat.

Jun sat up and kicked him gently.

"Why the hell are you sleeping on the floor?"

William groaned and sat up, hair messy and eyes bloodshot.

"Oh, don't even start," he said dramatically.

"All. Because. Of. YOU."

Jun blinked.

"Huh?"

"You were a disaster last night," William continued.

"Mumbling nonsense, puking everywhere, kicking me in your sleep. I didn't even sleep two hours. But here I am—your lovely best friend who cleaned it all without killing you."

Jun was silent, stunned.

William sniffled.

"If East was with you at night , he'd probably murder you himself."

Jun chuckled.

"You're so dramatic."

"I'm not dramatic! I'm emotionally exhausted!"

Just then, East walked in holding a tray.

"Good. You're awake. Go shower. Then we're eating."

Jun stood slowly.

"Still feels like a dream…"

After Jun showered and freshened up, he returned to the dining area.

Tim had arrived, already halfway through his meal.

East raised an eyebrow.

"You left early last night. What happened?"

Tim waved him off,

"Ah, nothing. Just wasn't in the mood for more drama."

William chimed in,

"You missed the horror show. Jun turned into a full-on zombie. Screaming, puking, talking about aliens or whatever…"

Jun groaned, face red.

"Please stop."

Tim smirked.

"Where'd you bring him home from anyway?"

William added sarcastically,

"Yeah. What's his birthplace again? The Bar of Embarrassment?"

Everyone Burst out laughing, and Jun dropped his face into his hands, embarrassed beyond belief.
