Honestly, how many days has it been? I had said it—I would make sure to find out the truth, solve the mystery, and make my pack proud. But even though time wasn't up, I had little now.
Fifteen days. That's all I had before the Lycan King expected a report on the missing werewolves.
I tried; I did. Patrolling through the forest even at the fall of dawn, with my soldiers searching each corner and nook. But in the end, I got nothing; only more questions began swirling in my mind—the ones I didn't need at the moment. Answers were what I needed, but where would I get those from?
"Damn this!" I cursed.
How would I help everybody if I was to fail in just this task?
Many wolves had also begun going missing in these few days. The reports of them grew more and more.
What were the elders of this very town doing? Should I even be saying that? I mean, what was I doing myself?
Why haven't I figured out who this mastermind was?
