A week passed, and I didn't hear from either Christopher or the production team from the villa.
I got myself a new phone, well, Cassidy got me a new phone. I hadn't apologized for the way I spoke to her earlier and she didn't bring it up either.
Sophia had been apprehended by the police and was taken to the station where she tried to pin everything on me.
And now, I was seated in my living room, Cass was at work, and Luca was seated opposite me.
I didn't want to let him in at first when he just showed up, not especially since I knew that he had planned with Sophia to put the blame on me. But, then again, I didn't think that it would hurt to let him in.
And also, I needed the company.
"How are you feeling? Been a while."
Luca's voice was so casual that an outsider would think we didn't have a whole history between us.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Don't act like we're old friends catching up."
