Kazuya stood lazily before the eyes of all the fallen angels, his half-closed eyes reflecting the faint glow of the flames around him.
He let out a low chuckle.
"I confess I enjoy some good amateur porn." His voice rang clear, cutting through the heavy atmosphere like a blade. "But this here? It's too disgusting. Rape was never my favorite genre, you know?"
The fallen angels turned in shock, rage taking over. Kazuya's smile widened, cynical.
"Even though I don't have much fondness for Rias's little club..." His eyes gleamed with irony. "I'm not just going to stand by while a bunch of winged trash tries to have fun this way."
"What did you say, you worm?!" one of the fallen shouted, their black wings flapping.
Kazuya tilted his head to the side, sarcasm dripping from every word. "I said you're so useless that you're barely fit to be fifth-rate pornographic villains. Want to play predators? Well then… welcome to the hunt."
The fury of the fallen angels was instantaneous. They charged, spears of light forming in their hands. But before they could take a step forward...
"Tch."
The deep, cold voice came from Nobunaga. She emerged from her spirit form and appeared beside Kazuya, her dark cape billowing in the wind, her eyes filled with disdain. Without hesitation, she drew a musket pistol and aimed it at the head of the nearest fallen angel, pulling the trigger. Instead of a normal bullet, a black-red laser shot out.
ZUUUM!
A beam of energy pierced through the skull of the first fallen angel, exploding it in a grotesque shower of blood and corrupted light.
"Offending my master… unforgivable."
She pulled the trigger again, unhurried, merciless.
ZUUUM! ZUUUM! ZUUUM!
Each shot was precise, cold, like an execution. One by one, the fallen angels fell, their heads obliterated before they could even react.
The smell of burnt blood spread, heavy, suffocating.
Kazuya watched the scene, still leaning against the pillar, as if it were merely a tedious spectacle.
"Heh… I guess I exaggerated when I said I didn't want to watch anything disgusting. This has a certain charm."
Kokabiel finally moved. Until then, he had remained silent, as if merely observing his subordinates turn into charred flesh and blood splattered across the ground. The fallen angel showed no remorse, let alone pity. To him, they were nothing but disposable pawns in a much larger game.
His red eyes fixed on Kazuya, and for a moment, Kokabiel's entire body shuddered. A chill ran down his spine as he recognized the figure before him.
"The… Strongest human in history…" he murmured, almost in disbelief.
The invisible pressure emanating from Kazuya was suffocating. There was no magical aura, no identifiable divine or demonic power, but his mere presence was like a vast, unfathomable, and inevitably deadly abyss. Kokabiel couldn't sense any kind of energy coming from him...
Even so, the cruel smile didn't vanish from Kokabiel's face. He took a step forward, his black wings spreading to their full extent, shaking the air violently.
"I never thought I'd see a human who surpassed gods, angels, and demons today—what a joyful occasion... But…" his voice rose, laced with fanaticism, "that doesn't change the fact that we, the fallen angels, are the true supreme beings! I, Kokabiel, will prove it by crushing you right here!"
Kazuya raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a lazy, mocking smile.
"Supreme?" He laughed, low and derisive, as if he'd heard the most pathetic joke in the world. "You're nothing but black birds who lost your wings of light and decided to play rebels. And you, Kokabiel… you're just a crow that barks more than it flies."
Kokabiel's face twisted in fury.
"You… damned!"
Meanwhile, Nobunaga, who had just finished off the last of the fallen angels holding Rias and the others captive, spun her musket as if cleaning the barrel and walked to Kazuya's side. Her smile was sharp, brimming with disdain.
"Master, this weak crow doesn't deserve to dirty your hands. Allow me to dispatch him. It'd be fun to see his blood splatter the ground like the others."
Kazuya glanced at her, and an even more cynical smile appeared on his face. "No, Nobunaga. This one… is mine."
The warrior's red eyes gleamed with anticipation, but she didn't insist. She merely laughed softly, crossing her arms and staring at Kokabiel with boredom. "As you wish. But honestly, I hope it doesn't take long. This show is already getting repetitive."
Kazuya sighed, as if the situation itself were more tedious than threatening.
"I intended to play a bit, maybe extract some answers from you, Kokabiel, because I didn't want to rely on my power for everything. But…" Kazuya's eyes narrowed, gleaming with a deep blue as if reflecting hidden lightning. "I don't need to anymore. Wasting time with someone capable of such despicable acts is something I don't want to do. And besides, I already have my answers..."
Kokabiel frowned, confused for a moment, before Kazuya continued: "You were influenced by someone, weren't you? A certain demon, with grand ambitions and a mouth full of promises. Pathetic. I already know exactly who he is… and I know that soon he'll be my enemy."
The fallen angel's eyes widened, shocked at how easily his mind and motivations were exposed. The arrogant laugh that had been echoing in his throat faltered for a moment, replaced by genuine rage: "It doesn't matter what you know! Even a monstrous human like you can't—"
"—can't what?" Kazuya interrupted, mocking, his voice dripping with disdain.
"Can't defeat you? Can't destroy the fallen angel army? Can't crush every black wing that dares to fly above me? Oh, Kokabiel…" He ran a hand through his hair, chuckling softly. "You really believe your own lie?"
The flames around him seemed to bow before him. The atmosphere grew denser, heavier. Rias and the others, still on the ground, felt their bodies tremble. It wasn't just fear—it was the sensation of standing before something that didn't belong to this world.
Kokabiel roared, his rage erupting in the form of power. A massive magic circle appeared in the sky, and dozens of light spears formed, ready to rain down like a deadly storm.
"Then die, Ryougi Kazuya!"
The spears fell in a devastating deluge, each one carrying enough energy to obliterate mountains. The night sky was lit up with flashes of white and black, as if a celestial war were being waged there.
But Kazuya didn't move. He stood still, hands in his pockets, watching as if observing boring fireworks.
The spears collided, the explosion shaking the ground, the air splitting in shockwaves, trees in the distance shattering. A cloud of dust and energy enveloped the entire field.
On the other side, Kokabiel opened a victorious smile.
"Hah! That's the fate of any human who dares to oppose us!"
The smoke cleared.
And there was Kazuya, unscathed, standing in the same spot, with the same lazy, cruel smile. Not even the dust had stained his clothes.
He raised his gaze and stared at Kokabiel, as if the fallen angel were just an annoying insect.
"Was that it?" He sighed. "You know… if you were going to bore me like this, I would've let Nobunaga play with you."
Nobunaga laughed, bringing a hand to her face. "Pathetic crow… you're not even fit to entertain my master."
Kokabiel's heart raced, the first spark of fear appearing in his gaze.
Kazuya took a step forward. The ground trembled, and the air seemed to freeze. "Enough playing. I already have the answers I wanted… and you're nothing but a distraction. I'll end this quickly."
The gleam in his eyes intensified, like blue lightning about to crash from the skies.
Kokabiel, despite trying to maintain his pride, felt his throat go dry. Before him stood not just a human… but something beyond angels, beyond demons.
He stood before Kazuya, the Second Coming of Solomon, the King of Magic, the Savior of the Human Race, the Bearer of Christ's Will...
The silence that fell over the field was suffocating.
Kazuya slowly raised his hand, the gesture almost lazy but laden with an authority that made reality itself tremble. His blue eyes glowed, like caged thunder in darkness, and a purple energy began to condense at the tip of his index finger.
Despite the different color, it was undeniably the [Power of Destruction].
Rias, still trying to compose herself, widened her eyes as she recognized what she saw.
"Im… impossible…" Her voice came out in a trembling whisper. "That's the Gremory clan's power… but… it's not the same… it's something… beyond…"
She already knew he could do this from the video that had circulated on the old Devilnet of her brother losing to him, how he was able to use the Power of Destruction after seeing it just once, some ability of his Longinus…?
But this power...
It was different...
Kazuya opened a cold smile, raising his finger toward Kokabiel.
"You boasted of supremacy, crow? Then see what real power is. Hollow Hakai."
The space before him trembled, distorting into a deep purple circle, like a bottomless abyss. It was the [Hollow Purple] infused with the [Power of Destruction], refined to its purest form.
The result wasn't an attack.
It was a decree: inevitable annihilation.
The vortex expanded for an instant and, in the next moment, shot toward Kokabiel at the speed of light.
The fallen angel didn't even have time to breathe. His eyes widened, trying to comprehend the purple wave advancing, but his mind went blank before he could even form a thought.
The Hollow Hakai swallowed him whole.
There was no scream. No resistance. Just the absolute silence of something being erased from existence. No body, no soul, no trace of energy remained. Kokabiel, the fanatic who claimed supremacy, ceased to exist entirely.
Rias and the others felt a shiver run down their spines. It wasn't just the fear of a power that went beyond the divine. It was the shock of witnessing a technique that made even the [Power of Destruction] inherited by her lineage seem like child's play…
"He… he erased Kokabiel…" Akeno murmured, unable to believe it.
Koneko, who had been trying to maintain her cold expression, trembled, unable to look at the purple void that pulsed in the air for a few seconds before vanishing.
"Not even Grayfia-sama… not even Sirzechs… could do that…"
Nobunaga laughed, her hand covering her lips in an elegant gesture, but her eyes sparkled with ecstasy.
"Magnificent, master. Erasing a worm like that without even breaking a sweat… now that's entertainment worthy of you."
Kazuya lowered his hand, as if nothing had happened, and sighed. "It was over too quickly… but I guess it wasn't worth dragging out. Wasting time with trash was never my style."
The remaining fallen angels hovered in the sky, paralyzed, as if their very survival instinct had frozen them. The silence was almost suffocating, broken only by the dry crackle of electricity that began to dance around Kazuya's body.
He lazily raised his hand, unhurried, as if swatting away annoying flies.
A thunderclap roared.
And then, in a single instant, blue lightning crashed from the skies, snaking through the air like ravenous dragons.
The fallen screamed, but there was no time for escape, no salvation. Their bodies were swallowed by discharges so intense they left only fragments of light before being obliterated. Flesh, bones, wings—everything burned until not even dust remained.
Hundreds of bodies fell… no, disappeared. Not even an atom survived.
The sky, once dominated by the black threat of wings, was now empty, clean, silent.
Kazuya lowered his shoulders, letting out a sigh, as if he had just finished a tedious task. He stretched, his muscles cracking, and glanced at Rias's group.
"Well… see you later, little girls." He winked, a lazy smile on his face, before turning his back.
Nobunaga walked beside him, satisfied, the tip of her musket still smoking.
But before they could disappear, Rias's voice rang out, desperate:
"Wait!"
She stumbled forward, completely ignoring her nudity, her body still marked by the fight. Her blue eyes were fixed on Kazuya, filled with urgency and something harder to define.
"Please… don't go. I… I need you to stay, at least for a while." Her breathing was heavy, her shame forgotten. "Let me… thank you."
Kazuya turned his face slowly, his eyes sliding to her chest without the slightest ceremony. Then he met the redhead's gaze, raising an eyebrow.
He let out a sigh.
"Tch… you really have no shame, Rias."
The silence hung for a moment. Then he flashed a crooked smile and ran a hand through his hair.
"Fine… I'll hear what you have to say."
Nobunaga, beside him, laughed softly, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
"This promises to be interesting."
