The loud ringing sound of Anna's phone yanked her out of her deep sleep. She groaned, blinking against the morning light that spilled through the window.
Slowly, she rose up to a sitting position, yawning and stretching. Then the phone rang again and she turned to the bedside to pick it up when she saw a note folded beside her phone.
From Aidan.
Curiosity flickered in her chest, as she reached for the note instead of the phone, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Surprise! Still in the spirit of celebration, I got you some discounts on some dresses from Allison's store and today is the pick up day. Enjoy your shopping and see you later."
"What?!" Anna couldn't believe her eyes.
A small slip of paper fell out of the note and she picked it up to see it contained the discount code and she figured that was what she was going to use to claim the dresses he got for her.
She scoffed, half-laughing to herself in disbelief.
