"Okay, okay, okay, fine!" Kathryn interrupted her. "Where do I pay to and how soon can we meet with her?"
Kathryn didn't want her to spill the beans about the funds with her. Jessica knew how much it was.
A whooping one million dollars which she had pulled out of the secret fund secretly. Now she regretted sharing the information with Jessica.
"I'll get her details across to you soon and let you know." Jessica finalized.
Kathryn heaved a deep sigh of relief. "Thank you, my friend."
"You're welcome. See you later."
The line went dead. Kathryn sank into the couch, burying her face in her hands. The relief washed over her, but so did the weight of reality.
