Anna sat stiffly in the passenger seat, silently watching Aidan as he expertly drove away from the chaos-of-a-wedding.
Doubts, confusion and questions began to spin in her mind about Aidan. Before she could stop herself, she asked. "Who the hell is the Great Dane, Aidan?"
He snapped his head towards her quickly with furrowed brows in surprise. "Everyone knows the Great Dane, don't you know him?"
Anna stared at him like he'd grown another head. "Of course not. I don't know who the hell he is and I don't understand one single thing that just happened in there. How did you even know this was going to happen? You said the wedding wouldn't happen and it didn't!"
Aidan let out a sharp breath, eyes on the road as he swung the car left. "Well, I didn't expect this turn of events or Sophie's supposed betrothal to the Great Dane drama. What I expected was for Warren to call off the wedding…"
