"How could you two show your faces fifteen minutes late?!" Director Callum reprimanded, his tone not just harsh, but frightening.
"I'm sorry. Something urgent came up, and I couldn't ignore it," Selina said calmly.
"Selina, you can't slack off on your duties for any reason. For being unpunctual, you'll handle all paperwork this week between the marketing department and ours."
He turned slightly. "Annabelle, you'll run errands within the company."
"Yes, sir."
"Yes, sir," Annabelle and Selina echoed in unison.
"I guess I'll be worn out before the day even begins, with this staff being so demanding," Annabelle muttered under her breath, already imagining their endless petty requests.
Callum shifted his attention back to Selina. "Have you finished updating last week's performance, sales, and review summary in the company system?"
"Yes, sir," Selina replied with a soft smile. "I went through all the data yesterday. I also received a satisfactory internal email."
