We finally wrapped up the tenth floor mission on the 114th chapter!
I'm sure you can already guess from the title of this chapter, but I'm going to say it anyway.
Pick Me Up, Another Lobby! will be taking a break for a time.
But hear me out! This doesn't mean you will be getting nothing until the story resume again.
I want to keep uploading the chapters in a daily rate while keeping the quality of the writing as best as I could.
Unfortunately, I'm not the type of Webnovel author who wrote their stories on the fly. Not if I want to keep the story's quality consistent.
I like to plan for my story ahead of time, set an outline, write a certain length of the story and see whether I had written the story as I envisioned it in my mind or not.
And I can't do exactly those if I'm feeling rushed.
I don't like feeling rushed by the demand to publish daily. But I still want to stay committed to publish daily.
So my solution for this is to write ahead as many chapters as I could.
That is how I had been able to upload a chapter every day ever since this fan-fiction was first published.
And I would like to keep doing so in the next stretch of the story (15th Floor and beyond!).
To give you an idea of how far ahead in the story I'd like to write for me to feel comfortable…
By the time you read this announcement, I'm already writing the preparation for the 15th Floor climb.
And when the story resumed, I would probably be in the middle of writing the third Quintal Trial.
As for how long the story would be taking a break, it is related to what I said earlier.
This pause in the story doesn't mean you will be getting nothing until the story resume again.
I have prepared side stories that would fill the hiatus duration.
There are thirteen parts in total. I'll be uploading one part a day starting tomorrow, same time as usual.
In thirteen days, the story of Pick Me Up, Another Lobby! will continue once more.
In the meantime, enjoy the side stories. You wouldn't want to miss them, I promise.
