"Haha! It's our turn! Let's go, everyone!"
Zecht excitedly shouted as he led his party to the rift. Apparently he was chosen to be the leader of the group.
"If we do as we did yesterday, I'm sure we'll be just fine!"
Norn said reassuring her teammates.
After I recommended Zecht and Norn to be in Party 2, master immediately looked for members to complement their ranks.
Maddock was a 2-star spearman who also worked as a mercenary before coming here.
From the recent 2-stars lineup, he was the one who stood out the most in terms of strength and skills.
Meanwhile, Luan was a 1-star prospect.
She had reached level 3 in Basic Swordsmanship not even two weeks since she got here. She also had proved herself by working alongside other combatant escorts in the gatherer parties to defeat several Weekday Dungeon guardians.
And lastly…
"I'll see you later, Miss Serafina!"
Tarran cheerfully said to me as he passed me by.
A short bow and a quiver of arrows were equipped on him, as well as a pair of daggers on his belt.
"It's no longer deer and boars you're facing against. So always keep your guard up."
I told him.
"Of course!"
The boy replied with a tilt of his cap before entering the rift.
After the Weekday Dungeon was made available, Tarran had been attracting the most attention ever since he got here.
Not only did he set up the gatherer parties, he was also the main contributor in the Weekday Dungeon trips.
He gathered the most materials, hunted the most animals, and even killed the most elemental stone guardians.
Through his Weekday Dungeon activities that Tarran developed skills in Basic Archery and Basic Dagger Technique.
Once master caught wind of his abilities, master began repeatedly sending him to the first floor trial alongside the makeshift party which master used to discover potential talent from the newcomers.
Despite being so small and young, Tarran managed to survive the first floor.
He even attained the title 'MVP' for most of his trips there, which was a title given to those who contributed the most in the trial, or so we understood.
From the testimonies of those that fought with him, Tarran was able to fight against the monsters just as well as the other grown-ups. Sometimes he was even faster and stronger than them.
We had a glimpse of it from Trudy's fight against Jyrgil, but it was from Tarran that we certainly understood that age and size was not a determining factor in the forged land.
Anybody could become strong here.
After confirming Tarran's and the other two's potential, master immediately included them in Party 2 around three days ago.
There might be other 2-stars that were as strong as the 1-stars Tarran and Luan.
But given we could promote 1-star heroes to 2-star now, the ranks did not really make a difference anymore.
And from what I heard from Zecht, Tarran and the other two worked well with him and Norn in Party 2.
They just cleared the third floor the second time as a party yesterday, so they might attempt the fourth floor right now.
Things were shaping up well for Party 2 at the moment.
Provided with time they could eventually match up with us in Party 1.
On the other hand…
"Gahaha! Come here, you weaklings!"
Jyrgil's voice echoed from the first floor training ground.
Master had not assigned more members to Jyrgil's party, so he did not frequent the trials just yet.
As such, Jyrgil did not have many chance to level up.
But it was definitely not none.
Recently there was a group of people from the first floor of the lobby that was caught stealing from the Weekday Dungeon.
Instead of putting the food they gathered into the dimensional portal, they kept the bounties inside their pockets and satchels until they returned to the lobby.
As ordered by master, the first floor residents were banned to eat food from the Weekday Dungeon.
When the fairy caught these people, master immediately synthesized them with Jyrgil.
Thanks to this event, Jyrgil was now already up to level 3.
It came to no surprise that Jyrgil wanted to test his newfound strength after levelling up.
So he spent most of his times in the first floor training ground, beating up the 1-star and 2-star trainees.
That was the only place where he could show his superiority.
Since in the second floor, either Jonah or Shanny would always beat him to a pulp in training, even though he had levelled up.
I did not exactly mind with Jyrgil's act since he would serve as a good sparring partner for the trainees on the first floor.
He might not work well with others nor he could match up to the others in Party 1 just yet, but he was still a 3-star who knew how to fight.
Jyrgil would definitely be a superior substitute to the static wooden practice dolls the trainees used to face.
Though I wished master would soon finish arranging Party 3's members so they could soon work on their teamwork.
Godesses knew how Party 3 needed it with Jyrgil as their leader.
