The party ended and everyone returned home, but not all were happy—not when there were issues presented themselves the way they all turned out.
Mr. Fineland was pissed at his daughter. He had taken her so she could gain favor in the eyes of the queen, but who would have thought Nancy was no second Korra? Not only did she disgrace herself, but she downright played everyone for a fool.
"No daughter of yours would ever match Korra," the old man hissed before slamming shut the door of his bedroom and storming to his studies.
Mrs. Fineland was disappointed; however, she had no room to talk—her thoughts were better off not known or heard by her husband. Meanwhile, Nancy was fuming in her room.
"How dare they?" she lamented, but it was too late. The Queen did not want her around, and no one dared say another word about that night.
