The night went peacefully, Ayzal woke up early and offered her fajr prayer while maaz was sleeping soundly, she sat down on the bed and started reciting quran that's when she heard someone knocked on the door, she hummed as permission and maaz walked inside rubbing her eyes and his hair completely, Ayzal looked at him but moved her gaze back to quran, maaz walked towards the bed and spoke in a sleepy voice "baby?" Ayzal's eyes snapped up at his face as he called her baby but she didn't say anything as he continued "I couldn't sleep there it was too uncomfortable if you are awake then let me sleep here" Ayzal poked her inner cheek and nodded "fine" maaz immediately crawled on the bed and get inside the cover while Ayzal kept sitting beside him, he got comfortable and again fell asleep.
Ayzal POV
After like an hour and half I started getting ready, I came out of the bathroom and saw he was still sleeping, I sat down in front of the dresser and started doing my hair routine, that's when I saw him staring at me with a smirk, I passed him a disgusting look and started putting my hair in a bun when I heard his voice "you look cute in open hair" I looked back at him and spoke "so you are saying I look bad in hijab" he shrugged nonchalantly and answered "maybe yeah buttercup" I narrowed my eyes and he started laughing I know at my reaction and he continues "you look absolutely gorgeous even when you sleep" I raised my eyebrow and spoke "when did you saw me sleeping huh?" He replied "last night.. I came here in the middle of the night last night to ask for permission if I could sleep on this bed too because I wasn't comfortable out there but you were sleeping, so I just left... And clicked a few photos of your sleepy cute look" I stood up and walked towards him "you did what? You can't take pictures of anyone when they are sleeping" I almost barked but he replied back calmly "I know baby girl, but you are not anyone you are mine" his voice was calmed but I can feel possessiveness in his words I decided to leave this matter right there, I walked towards the door and said "stop calling me with all those nicknames I hate it" and I left.
Author's POV
As Ayzal left maaz signed and sat down on the bed he was slightly frustrated as he spoke to himself "god when she'll stop pushing me away" he got up and started getting ready. After a while maaz went downstairs towards the dinning room and saw Ayzal was already there doing breakfast and the maid was serving maaz breakfast, maaz sat down beside Ayzal and said "what's so hurry huh?" Ayzal looked at him, her mouth was filled with bread and she said confusingly because she couldn't understand his words "huh?" Maaz chuckled and pinched her cheek, but she swatted his hand away with a glare, maaz laughed because he found it adorable, then he spoke "why are you eating like you'll never get to eat food again huh?" Ayzal rolled her eyes and swallowed the bite and said "so you are complaining about the way I eat?" Maaz said "I won't even dare darling just out of curiosity I asked" Ayzal again took a big bite and started munching, maaz also started eating then he remembered something, he moved his attention towards Ayzal and spoke "hey, dad asked me to tell you to invite who ever you want in reception like any friend or best friend" Ayzal nodded and shrugged her shoulder "okay I really don't have anyone to invite by the way" maaz narrowed his eyes and looked at her and spoke "you have no friends?" Ayzal spoke casually "I have a few friends" maaz leaned back on the chair and pointed his finger towards her "are you Ayzal?" Ayzal gave him side eyes and said "don't be dramatic" maaz showed his palms in a peaceful gesture and said "hey, just messing, you were used to having thousands of friends back then", Ayzal shrugged her shoulders and spoke "I'm not the same Ayzal" maaz kept looking at her and nodded "yeah I can see that, but I can see the old Ayzal behind those eyes" Ayzal stopped munching and looked at him in eyes, she didn't say anything and again looked away, then maaz spoke again "well in our reception I'll be able to see Ella again, since you left Canada, I also never seen her your bestie is just like you" when Ayzal heard word Ella, she put the cup down forcefully and stood up abruptly make maaz flinch, he looked up at her, he opened his mouth to say something but before that Ayzal snapped "you talk too much, I don't want to talk about it or anything shut up now!! I'll invite whoever I want on my own" and she left while wiping the sweat from her neck and forehead with the back of her hand , maaz kept sitting there with a confused look not knowing the reason behind why she snapped suddenly. He kept sitting there unaware of the turmoil in her mind, and suddenly he had an idea to make up with her, he immediately rushed towards the garden where Ayzal was talking to someone, she saw maaz rushed towards her, after a few mins she cut the call, and raised her eyebrow, maaz understand the gesture and spoke "someone is coming to meet you, right now" Ayzal put the phone in her bag and spoke "and who is that someone?" Maaz spoke confidently "someone special" Ayzal rolled her eyes and spoke "is this any kind of riddle" maaz shook his head and spoke "just meet them for a half an hour then you can leave if you heart agree" Ayzal reluctantly nodded and walked back inside the mansion.
She stayed in the room, and started feeling frustrated because she was waiting for the 'special guest' for more than fifteen minutes, she stood up and almost decided to break maaz teeth just then she heard a car stopped and then loud voices of children chatting, a big smile formed on her as she heard a few familiar voices, she climbed downstairs and moved out of the mansion when she saw Arabella and miyesha same girls from orphanage, maaz was holding miyesha and secretly she finds it a little cute but something attracted her more than miyesha, and that was Arabella and the reason was she wasn't looking the same, Arabella was wearing baggy jeans and black hoodie and her head was covered with a scarf, she slowly walked towards Arabella with widened eyes and spoke in a whisper "Arabella" Arabella understand her expressions, she shook her head and spoke with a smile "it's Barrera now" I didn't think and pulled her in a tight hug, Barrera chuckled and hugged Ayzal back and spoke "yes I'm a Muslim now, thanks to you" Ayzal pulled back to say something but that's when miyesha stretch her arms towards Ayzal as maaz was holding her in his muscly arms and spoke in a cute voice "I wants hugs too" her cute demand make everyone chuckle, Ayzal took miyesha in her arms and maaz spoke playfully "such a greedy little thing"
