Maaz entered his father's mansion, an old maid who works there for a long time look at maaz who was looking panic and tears were visible on his face, she rushed towards maaz and asked with concerned "maaz, are you ok, what happened-" maaz cut her words and spoke pleadingly to her "I want to meet dad where is he? Please tell me" the maid didn't think twice and ran towards Azaan study and burst there, Azaan looked at her with a surprise look as he stood up and asked "Helena? You ok?" Helena the maid shook her head and spoke "maaz is here to meet you urgently sir, maaz is crying he is looking so worried" Azaan nodded and walked towards living room where maaz was standing and continuously crying, jiya and Rafia were also there, rafia was continuously rubbing maaz arm, as maaz saw his father coming near him and stood in front of him maaz spoke up "d-dad... My Ayzal" a cornered worried look appeared on Azaan face and he asked "what happened to her? Where is Ayzal" maaz let out a heavy sob, his knees buckled and he felt on the floor, everyone kneel around maaz holding him, Azaan also kneel in front of maaz and grabbed his shoulders, maaz hiccups like a baby and spoke "dad she left me..." Azaan felt more confused, he pulled maaz and leaned his head over his chest, he caressed maaz back and asked "please tell me clearly what happened maaz?" Maaz stayed in his father's embrace and spoke "Ayzal left me alone here... She went to Greenland dad" everyone gasped loudly at maaz words, maaz was still crying on his father chest his mind wasn't working, jiya who was sitting beside Azaan spoke up "maaz it's not the right time to cry.." maaz looked towards jiya as jiya continue "the situation is not out of our hands" maaz sat down straight and asked while wiping his tears "` w-what do you mean? She already left" jiya spoke up firmly "then go behind her" Rafia spoke up "god knows where is she going in Greenland" maaz shook his head immediately and spoke "n-no no no nuuk was written on her alarm... She is going to nuuk" the maid Helena who was among them spoke up "then immediately take a flight to greenland maaz" maaz wiped his tears roughly from his face and spoke to his father "please arrange a private jet... I want to leave right now" Azaan nodded understandingly knowing private jet is a better option and Azaan spoke while patting maaz shoulders " ok just get ready you are leaving ok? Be brave my boy" Azaan helped maaz to stand up. While Azaan was arranging him private jet he called his friend and assigned few men at the passenger exist of nuuk airport.
AFTER A WHILE
Maaz reached inside the private jet and soon they jet fly off towards Greenland, maaz was still worried and concerned, after a few restless hours they landed on nuuk airport, he got off the jet, it took him a little time to check in but he knows he was landed before the flight, and started roaming near the exit while his guards were also searching for Ayzal.
Ayzal POV
After cancelling the flight, I booked a hotel and decided to stay there, because I can't leave without removing the data from my phone and it is possible with my computer which was in my office, I can't go to the office for a few days because I know maaz might try to find me there, I reached inside my hotel roam and sat down on the bed silently, my heart was feeling bothered so I went to the balcony but my distress grows rapidly, I felt my chest was tightened and wiped the sweat from my forehead and spoke to myself "calm down Ayzal, everything will be fine in a few days." That's when I heard knock on my door of my room, my body abruptly stiffened up, I walked towards the door and opened it and immediately calmed down it was my colleague also a good friend whom I called here for some work, I pulled her inside my room and looked the door behind, Chloe looks towards me with confused look and asked "what are you doing here in this hotel?, everything's ok?" I licked my lower lip and spoke "I ran away from my home" I can tell she was surprised because her eyes were widened, I grabbed her grabs in my hand and asked "can I trust you that you won't tell about this to anyone" she kept staring at my eyes but slowly nodded and I relaxed, I spoke up "I need your help please" she nodded and I continue "actually you know my marriage was like a forced marriage almost I was trying to cooperate but for some reason I have to leave him" I don't know why but I was feeling guilty and ashamed inside while telling her but I continue "so I want you to tell me if anyone ask for in the office, and rest I'll handle" I can tell she was baffled but while trusting my words she nodded and spoke "okay don't worry, just take care of yourself" I nodded with a forced smile and Chloe hugged me before leaving. As she left I locked the room and walked towards the bed and jumped on it, while being buried in my own thoughts I fall asleep without taking off my scarf or shoes.
ONE WEEK LATER
it's been a whole week both maaz and Ayzal were unaware about each other, on the other hand maaz was getting weaker he barely eat or drink water he stayed in the nuuk for a whole week but he understands in the whole week that ayzal wasn't in nuuk, so he decided to go back to Canada, his arrange the flight and started getting ready to leave his phone was dead so he didn't text his family about his returns
On the same day in the morning, Ayzal go to the office, deleted the data of her phone via her computer, she did everything in hurry because she have to leave Ontario and drive to new York, she changed the destination because living in new York for a while was good for her, she has her best friend there also in new York there was her company's branch so she decided to go to the new York. She completed her work and leave Ontario towards new York by road. And after hours she reached New York, in front of her best friend gate
Meanwhile maaz was in the flight silently, his brain wasn't working, he didn't eat or drink water he was pale but it seems like he forgot himself. Once he reached, he took taxi and reached back to his father's mansion, he saw no maids were in the garden or nearby, he felt oddly panicked like he was about to cry, he rubbed his chest and walked inside, he walked inside the mansion and saw maids were gathered and everyone of them was looking hell worried, maaz gaze fall on the old maid Helena and she was crying, maaz felt more worried, as maids acknowledged maaz's presence, they all walked towards maaz, Helena reached near maaz and maaz spoke "w-why are you crying?, where is mom, dad and jiya?" Maids looked at each other with uncertainty, maaz grabbed Helena's hand and spoke in a pleading voice "you are making me worry, please tell me where is my family" Helena sobbed softly before speaking "your mother and jiya is coming home with your father, my boy" at her assurance maaz was still worried hell, but with in a min, everyone heard car's engine sound, the maids looked towards maaz before rushing out of the mansion, maaz didn't think much and went behind him.
Maaz reached out of the mansion, where cars were getting parked, and he saw guards helped Rafia and jiya get out of the car, they were looking pale and weak, jiya was looking so vulnerable and helpless. Zayn and aima get out of the another car and they were also looking pale with red puffy eyes, maaz moved towards his mother, as soon as maaz reached near Rafia she throw herself in her son's embrace and started crying loudly, maaz just catch her and kept standing silently, he was unaware what was going on, his heart was beating fast his gaze was Searching for his father continuously, maaz abruptly pulled his mother away to look down in her eyes, he shakes her shoulders and asked in a whisper "d-dad... Where is my dad" Zayn came from behind and pulled maaz away from Rafia, he grabbed maaz with both hands and spoke with teary eyes "he left us" and just after zayn's words maaz knees buckled everyone moved towards maaz, everyone was crying, maaz kept staring at the ground, the tears streamed out of his eyes uncontrollably, Zayn rubbed maaz back and spoke "maaz, please handle yourself, Rafia and jiya are already crying for hours" maaz didn't reply and let out a heavy sob and mumbled "m-my dad.. n-no please" everyone around him was crying crying and sobbing after seeing him so vulnerable and helpless, especially Helena because she was working there for years and she always saw maaz being cheerful and cheeky, he was like her own son. Zayn hugged maaz tightly and even he cried silently.
