Chapter 13 - Chapter 12: Red Alert

The cold fluorescent lights of Moro City Headquarters buzzed faintly as dozens of elite soldiers paced around the vast hall. Giant screens flashed urgent red alerts, bathing the room in an ominous hue. At the center stood Officer Rod—one of the highest-ranking elite soldiers in the World Government.

His sharp black uniform bore countless medals, but his face, scarred and stone-cold, showed no pride—only discipline and intensity.

A younger officer stormed in through the side door, holding a glowing red communicator. He was pale, sweating. "Officer Rod! We have a situation."

Rod turned slowly. "What is it, soldier?"

The young man swallowed hard. "Underground Prison… We've had a breakout. A big one."

Rod narrowed his eyes. "How big?"

"Dozens of criminals. Maybe more. We don't have the full list yet, but—"

Just then, the door burst open again, and another elite soldier entered—Zoro. Notorious for his swordsmanship and brutal efficiency, Zoro was rarely surprised. But even he looked shaken.

"This has never happened in our history," Zoro muttered. "The underground prison is a fortress."

Rod gritted his teeth. "Who authorized external access? Was this an inside job?"

"No signs of internal betrayal," the young officer responded. "But we received this."

He tapped on the device, projecting a red-hued hologram.

[EMERGENCY ALERT: PRISON BREAK – UNDERGROUND JAIL. RED LEVEL PRIORITY. SEVERAL C-LEVEL, B-LEVEL, AND ONE S-LEVEL CRIMINALS CONFIRMED MISSING. SUSPECTED POWER SUPPRESSION FAILURE.]

Rod's eyes widened slightly. "Level S..."

The entire room fell into silence. Soldiers paused mid-step. Fingers hovered over consoles. No one moved.

Rod's voice was low now, dangerous. "Repeat that."

The officer hesitated. "One confirmed Level S prisoner has escaped, sir."

Zoro looked at Rod. "This… This is bigger than anything we've faced. If a Level S is on the loose—"

Rod nodded. "—Then this is no ordinary prison break."

The young soldier added quickly, "We've already forwarded the alert to Central World Government Headquarters. Moro City is increasing lockdown measures and city perimeter scans."

Zoro crossed his arms. "You think this is connected to any organization?"

Rod didn't answer immediately. Then, after a long pause: "CROWN. It has to be. Who else has the audacity to pull this off?"

Zoro raised an eyebrow. "If it's CROWN, then this could mean war."

Rod clenched his fists behind his back. "Prepare all surveillance units. Sweep the outer districts. Lock down the border."

Rod ask Soldier about new level D criminal name Aryan

And Soldier say sir he also escape from prison

Rod's lips thinned. "So he also escape , I thought he was nobody but he his something else ."

The soldier nodded. "Yes sir. Transferred just a few days ago."

Rod's mind raced. He had read Aryan's file. A supposed low-level criminal—yet now connected to a massive escape involving a Level S.

Zoro looked at him. "You think he triggered the breakout?"

Rod's voice was icy. "It wasn't a coincidence. Someone planned this. And if this Aryan was the spark… then he's not just some random thug."

Zoro added, "He might be a sleeper agent. Or worse—someone with a hidden Pluse."

Rod turned to the soldiers. "Full pursuit order. Aryan, Kale, and the unidentified Level S escapee. We will find them. And if he's with CROWN, we crush CROWN."

Scene Shift – Forest, Midnight

Aryan's feet pounded against the soft dirt as the forest blurred around him. The cold night air cut into his skin, but he kept running. Kale was just behind him, breathing heavily but focused.

They were far from the underground prison now, and yet every step felt like a countdown.

The further they got, the heavier Aryan's thoughts became.

"In my past life… I ran too. Always escaping. Always looking over my shoulder. From city jails, from police... from everything.

And now here I am again—in another world, and my story still begins the same way... running from prison."

Kale suddenly spoke beside him, panting. "You holding up?"

Aryan nodded, still focused. "I'm used to this."

"Used to what?"

"Running. Escaping. Planning."

Kale chuckled dryly. "Some life."

They slowed near a rocky ridge. Kale leaned against a boulder, catching his breath.

"Do you think they'll chase us right away?" Aryan asked.

"No doubt," Kale replied. "Especially if a Level S escaped with us. That'll stir the entire World Government."

Aryan looked up at the sky. The stars above this world felt different. Alien. But they also held a strange sense of possibility.

"Back in my world… I always thought jail was the worst thing that could happen. But here, it feels like the beginning of something big."

Kale wiped sweat from his brow. "This world's laws are different. So are its enemies. But now that we're out, what's your plan?"

Aryan thought for a long moment.

"I want to understand what happened to this world. Why there's a World Government so paranoid it locks people underground.

Kale raised an eyebrow. "That's a lot of questions."

Aryan smiled faintly. "Yeah… and I plan to get every answer."

The wind rustled the trees. In the distance, faint sirens howled from Moro City. The hunt had already begun.
