Chapter 26 - the reason why you were sent to another world

> System: You are inside someone else's fictional world.

Allen felt his energy being absorbed within that world.

"What do you want, Fujimiya?" Allen asked.

Fujimiya simply smirked slyly while closing his book.

"The story ends here. Goodbye, Kanaya," said Fujimiya.

The Shinigami Sword appeared before Fujimiya. His book opened, revealing several pages. Allen's hand emerged from within the book, grabbed the sword, and slashed.

Fujimiya's book shattered into pieces.

"Explain yourself, bastard!"

"Calm down, man…" Allen pressed the blade against Fujimiya's neck.

"No more chit-chat. Listen carefully—I can erase your existence or remove you from this story altogether. So if you don't tell me the truth, be ready to face the consequences."

"Hahaha, you really can't negotiate, huh?"

Suddenly, Yue arrived through a portal to rescue Fujimiya.

"You... who are you again?" Allen asked, confused.

Yue was stunned to hear Allen didn't recognize her.

"My name is Yue, the Goddess of Reincarnation," she replied.

"Oh," Allen said indifferently.

Yue's face turned sad as she pointed at Allen.

"Big brother... what does this mean? He doesn't remember me at all :("

While they were arguing, Allen looked away for a moment.

> System: Death Manipulation activated.

"Wow, my current skill cooldowns are getting really short," Allen thought to himself.

He tapped his system screen, swiping downward and opening the skill info tab.

"What the hell… all my skills now have only 1 second cooldowns."

Allen turned toward Fujimiya and Yue, who were still bickering.

"Hey, you two, could you be quiet for a second?"

No response.

"Ehem… guys?"

Still ignored.

Allen fired a bolt of lightning intentionally at an angle to intimidate them.

The two immediately fell silent and looked at Allen.

"Can you explain what's really going on here?" Allen asked with a terrifying grin.

Fujimiya and Yue exchanged glances, then nodded.

"Allen, do you know about cosmology?" Fujimiya asked.

"Cosmology?" Allen repeated.

> System: In brief, cosmology is the system or framework of a world—such as magic, multiverse, omniverse, etc.

"Yeah, I know it," Allen replied.

"Okay, I'll explain the cosmology of this world," said Fujimiya.

Allen stayed silent.

"This world's cosmology is divided into two: Fiction and Non-Fiction. Fictional worlds like mine, Yue's, and this entire isekai are filled with fantasy elements—dragons, goblins, monsters, magic, multiverses, omniverses. In contrast, non-fiction is something more realistic—like you." Fujimiya pointed at Allen.

Allen was stunned.

"Wait… I know I'm a reincarnation, but isn't reincarnation part of fiction and fantasy?"

Fujimiya grinned.

"A non-fiction being who becomes fictional is even stronger than fiction itself. They exist in what's called... Infinite Layers."

"Infinite Layers? What is that supposed to mean?"

Fujimiya turned to Yue.

"You explain it, Yue. I'm not the 'almost-omniscient' one like you."

"Alright, oh humble genius," Yue replied.

"So basically, non-fiction or real-world beings are far stronger than fiction. The formula is R > F. Fictional characters can become stronger when the soul of a non-fictional being inhabits them. And that non-fictional being controls the fictional body. For example: it's obvious that Kanaya, a real person, is the one controlling Allen."

Allen smirked.

"That's funny."

Fujimiya and Yue looked confused.

"What do you mean?" Yue asked.

"I get all that. But explain to me what Infinite Layers really are."

"Ohhh, Infinite Layers are existences beyond mere dimensions. Fiction generally exists between 3D and 12D—12D being the upper limit. But when you go beyond dimensional levels, you enter the realm of layers. The more layers, the higher the existence. And layers can go infinitely—like 99999999999999999999999999x layers. But Infinite Layers go beyond even that."

"Alright, enough of this exposition," Allen interrupted.

Suddenly, the skies began to crack.

"What's going on?" Fujimiya asked.

A massive explosion destroyed several omniverses and shattered spatial dimensions—down to the layers themselves.

Fujimiya and Yue started panicking. When Fujimiya looked at Allen, he was stunned.

Allen's eyes glowed purple. Two horns emerged from his forehead. Two wings sprouted from his back.

Cooldowns: Removed

"Listen, I only want to know one thing. You both understand the R > F formula. But why did you summon me to this isekai? Is there another reason?"

"Okay, calm down. I'll explain everything, alright?"

Allen swung his hand. Instantly, the destroyed omniverses returned to normal. The world was restored.

"Talk."

"Alright, alright. There's an anomaly... called HWL."

"HWL? What's that?"

Fujimiya began explaining:

"HWL is a high-dimensional cosmic entity, potentially Infinite Layer level. He's a dangerous and evil alter ego who has the ability to consume narratives. The more narratives he devours, the stronger he becomes."

"So why summon me?"

"Yes… Yue and I are both survivors of HWL. We escaped from him. That's why we summoned someone from the non-fiction world—to save us… to save this story… and this verse."

"But what if I'm not strong enough to defeat HWL?"

Fujimiya paused for a moment.

"Impossible. You just toyed with a universe, multiverse, and omniverse in your Demon King form."

Allen hesitated.

"I haven't mastered that form yet. I'm afraid… I might lose control."

To be continued.
