The stalemate ended when Kev said, "Then continue being the vice president. When the time comes, I'll ask Father and Mother to take over for some time. In the meantime, organize a workshop for the top employees to go for leadership training. They went back to the living room to find the games over.
Havillah was talking with her brother Lorenti when she saw Kev and Lorenti. She asked, "I was wondering if you could train my younger brother so that he could help you when I'm no longer useful. I would lend you Polycarp, but no one can do that job better than him." Kev said, "There is no need for the workshop anymore. "What workshop?" they both asked
Grandpa Delus answered, " W e wanted Polycarp to lend us a hand, but he is already doing that, so we thought we could train the top employees for that position. Now that we have someone, there is no need for the workshop; he will learn directly from Kev." Havillah looked at Polycarp and mouthed 'thank you '; she even made the sign of love with her fingers.
Polycarp was so touched he cried for real this time; he went over, wanting to fall on her for a hug, but was stopped by her brother, who said, "Boundaries, man. From now on, no touching, or else you will squish my nieces before they are born." He said, 'I understand,' but he still went for a side hug. Kev then said to Lorenti, " From tomorrow, you'll be going with me to the company to prove your worth before I hand you the chair.'
The next morning, Havillah woke up early as usual to make breakfast for the family. The help were already there to assist, and they greeted her. She asked, "What'sonn the menu today? After seeing it, she changed it and said, "My dad is leaving today, so I want to make something special for him and cookies to go with." Polycarp came down afterward and took over Havillah's duties.
They were roommates in college, so they knew what the other knew. He made her sit on a stool and be his assistant. The maids blushed as their master was too hot to handle. By 7 O'clock, everything was ready and set on the table. Polycarp and Havilla were seated at the kitchen counter, eating fruits and reviewing one of their artists' latest scandals.

She asked,d "It's okay, that babe of yours will be enough for me.e, I do not need more headaches like that ex-sister-in-law of yours; she would nag me the whole day."

" She won't be available at the moment because she would be working at their company for getting engaged in secret; it's the punishment they are giving he. She has to work for a year before they agree to their marriage."
"Thank God that chatterbox will be far from me. I wouldn't deny her a chance to collaborate if her proposals were good,d though. That guy is a lucky bastard; in fact, all the men who got my three maidens are lucky bastards. It is a loss to that Georgia guy tho. Why did you even agree to that engagement in the first place? You did not love him." Polycarp asked, and Havila laughed.
"Myself, I can't explain. I think I was in my comfort zone. In seven years of engagement, we never even went out once, never held hands; he would always invite Clarinda to go with us everywhere. I was so foolish to notice, because many times they were the ones talking and laughing and even left me behind to go back first. When I finally caught them and flashed back, I realized I was the light bulb."
"Come to think of it, I wasn't even hurt, but I was very pissed I bashed their big heads with a lamp. If they said so earlier, I would have made more money instead of wasting my time going out with them." Polycarp laughed and patted her back lightly, saying, Making money is more important; in fact, if my future wife is not like you, I don't want her." Havillah also laughed and said, "You will find a better one than me, but if she is anything less, I'll chase her away."
They laughed so hard they clutched their stomach;h, they wanted to continue trolling the adulterous couple before they were interrupted by Lorenti, If you wanted a wife like my sister, you could have taken her before your brother, and what's with the talk of other men[ex] when you are already married?" Polycarp said, "She is like a biological sister to me; I can't take my own sister, and about other men, we were reminiscing."
"There was even a time in college I wanted to matchmake her with my brother but she declined, who is married to him now, huh?" "If I had known he was the handsome stranger, I would have agreed immediately." Those people played with my feelings; I'm a good person, so I let them go easily. Let us go have breakfast."
Everybody else was there, so they were asked, "Where were the three of you? I thought you didn't want breakfast." Polycarp answered, "How can I miss the breakfast made by my sister? That's a no, and I also participated in it." "You made all these; what about the maids?" Mr Deus asked ' I wanted to make something special for my father before he left for overseas, so I decided to make everyone's favorite today."
She then took a glass jar full of cookies and presented them to Mr. Lorenti. "Dad, these cookies are sugar-free and good for your health. You could eat one daily,y and they will last you for a month." Mr. Lorenti was so touched that he took Havillah's palm and kissed it as a sign of thank you. Everybody was envious as the jar was opened; it had a nice rosemary aroma, and they were all pink in color. He noticed everyone looking and closed the jar very fast and kept it.
Havillah saw and laughed, "Don't worry, I made one for everyone. The maids presented the jars with their initials on them. The cookies were delicious;s they almost forgot their favorite breakfast. Havila whispered to Keveelsky, I already kept four more for you; focus on the breakfast." Polycarp and Lorent, i who were near ,a r heard them and started eating with gusto because the three of them shared a certain favorite food.
"Grandpa, now that we will be busy, it is best you go back tothe family hom,e as you will have company there." He agreed very fast as he was happy with his grand daughter in law, no favorites but his grand daughter in law surpasses his daughter in law by far, they were both smart and intelligent but the younger one was kind, hardworking, loving and no nonsense girl.
