Sid took one step into cave and a panel popped up.
[ Mission: Clear The Goblin Cave ]
[ Goblins Remaining: 16 ]
Sid only looked at it for a second, and continued his way into the cave. His heart raced with excitement as adrenaline surged in his body, making him feel unstoppable.
As he made his way deeper into the cave, he noticed faint lights glowing along the surface. Out of curiosity he touched one.
[Mana Stone (F) ]
''What!?'' he gasped, Sid then glanced deeper into the cave. All along the cave wall, he saw these faint lights, casting their soft glow into the dark surroundings.
'Damn, these many.' he thought in amazement. Although Sid didn't know the value of these mana stones in this new world and how much they are worth, but in his old one, these could fetch a considerable amount of cash. And seeing them in such quantities, so openly, he couldn't help but get greedy.
'Hehe, once I kill these goblins I should collect them, who knows how much these are worth here.' Sid planned in his mind.
Unable to hold himself back, he reached for a stone near him. He curled his fingers around it and tugged with all his might. Yet, to his disappointment the stone was firmly stuck to the cave wall, not budging an inch.
"Tch...." Sid clicked his tongue in annoyance, seeing the mana stone still fixed to the wall.
"Guess I'll need something like a pickaxe to mine, huh?" he muttered under his breath, wondering where he'd find a pickaxe when he didn't even know where he was.
"Haaa.." sighing in resignation, Sid continued on, venturing deeper into the cave.
As he kept walking further in, Sid started to hear faint, muffled voices. His mind turned alert, and he began walking with vigilance.
Moving deeper in, his eyes fell on a goblin, sleeping. As he approached the sleeping goblin with stealth, the sounds, earlier muffled and low, now became clear.
His eyes widened in disbelief, as he had a hunch of what was causing those explicit sounds.
But before he cleared his curiosity, he didn't forget the goblin sleeping near his feet. He glanced down at it. The goblin was naked and it's tiny wiener was leaking something.
Not wanting to look at it any longer, Sid hovered his sword just above the goblin's heart –where here believed it be. With a low grunt, Sid drove it in. It merely flinched before a familiar blue panel appeared.

Sid's gaze lingered on it for only a second as he took a few steps forward.
"Well, fuck." He cursed in amusement, peeking from behind a protruding boulder.
What he saw left his mouth open, something he vaguely guessed form the earlier sounds.
But actually seeing it was... something else.
'A goblin orgy... pfft, never even saw a human one, and here I am peeking at goblins gang-banging. Wait... I never even saw a naked women in previous life, did I?'
Sid's mood turned slightly sour...just a little bit. He quickly shifted his gaze to some goblins sprawled on the floor, sleeping away blissfully. Just looking at them, being so carefree, so indulging in their activities, a cruel thought crept up to his head.
'These dumb fuckers don't look like their armed. Heck there aren't even any weapons nearby. If I strike now and kill them quickly enough, it would be easy kills, even easier than before.'
Sid deciding to strike now while they were distracted, summoned his sword. This time not letting it slip like earlier.
He took a deep breath, and with determination, he sprang forth. He targeted the nearest sleeping goblin first. With a forceful plunge, he impaled his sword in the goblin's chest, killing it swiftly.

Seeing the notification flash before his eyes, Sid couldn't help but smirk.
With resolve burning, he quickly went for the next one. He swung his sword, slashing at its throat. The goblin's body twitched a little and went still after.

With a smirk, Sid darted over to to the goblins still at it. He ended one with a swift slash at the goblin's neck, his sword stuck midway. He kicked the body, making it fall on the female goblin. With his sword now free, he thrust it with both his hands. The sword smoothly pierced through the dead goblin and the other one beneath it, killing both in the process.

By now the rest of goblins turned their heads to the sounds. Their faces quickly turned grim as they saw Sid killing their kin. With fear gripping them, they shouted. Some tried their luck, thinking they could do something, but Sid brutally stabbed, ending them.

The others wasted no time as they all rushed to another part of the cave.
Sid, seeing them go, dashed after them. He slashed at the nearest goblin, leaving a gruesome wound. It stumbled forward. As it fell Sid stabbed at it's neck. He didn't check if it's dead or not, as the screen confirmed it for him.

As Sid chased after them he eventually stopped in front of a cave room, but only for a second. Going in, the goblins reached out for their weapons–crude wooden spear, just like the earlier ones.
Some immediately thrust their spears at him as soon as he stepped in. But thanks to his armor, it did nothing. Sid didn't give them any more chances as he started slashing them. he swung his sword with swiftness, almost blindly so, but with the goblins clustered together, most slashed landed, leaving ugly wounds.
Amidst his mindless sword swinging, Sid found a pattern he was comfortable with. He would first slash horizontally at their heads, albeit not as forceful, but enough to make them take a step back. And Sid would take advantage of these moments to strike at their vitals.
Sid parried a spear as it came for his torso and used the opening to strike back. He focused on his strikes, slashing and parrying with ease as more goblins fell under his relentless assault. Gradually, his movements became more fluid, his stance and attacks became more precise.
[ Obtained Skill: Basic Swordsmanship ]
The sudden message jolted him from his focused state. But only for a moment, as he continued his ruthless assault on the goblins.
After a few minutes Sid managed to kill most of the goblins, while some were left on the brink, barely clinging to life. He paused for a few seconds, beads of sweat rolled down as his chest heaved in exertion. His body ached in many places, his arms and shoulders felt heavy with fatigue.
But even with all the fatigue, he couldn't help but be amazed by the new Swordsmanship skill he just gained. From the moment he acquired it, his sword felt more natural in his hands, as if he had prior practice with it. The proper stance, the way his sword slashed more effortlessly– it all came to him naturally, as if he had a talent for the sword. But Sid knew, he never even touched a weapon ..except for kitchen knives.
"This.. this is incredible." He muttered in wonder. He ignored his aching limbs and started swing his sword, more relaxed this time. He slashed with practiced precision, his hands now moving in a better sync with his mind.
And to his utter astonishment, soon sword techniques started appearing in his mind. Ideas he never knew started forming, guiding him. Soon Sid learned a few techniques of parrying and attacking. And as he kept up his impromptu training session another message came, bringing him out of his trance.
[ Basic Swordsmanship -> Basic Swordsmanship Lv.1 ]
Sid stared at it, his excitement palpable.
'Damn..so it even levels up! This is turning out to better and better. There's no way I ain't trying the other weapons now. Hehe I'll train and become the master of all weapons!.'
"Hehe..Hahaha.." he let out soft chuckles, which soon turned loud, almost sounding like an madman with an ambitious plan.
[ Goblins remaining: 5 ]
Sid's laughter came to a halt as the blue panel reminded him of his incomplete mission. His eyes turned resolute, his fatigue overcome by the intense excitement and anticipation.
"I better get this mission over already. Can't wait for the next ones, especially the rewards. They have to be better and impressive right?"
He whispered.
After taking a good look around and making sure no goblin was left standing, he killed the ones still clinging to their pitiful lives.

Adding them to the points he already had, Sid now had a total of eighty points.
He rested for a minute and began searching for the remaining two goblins.
