He dug through a lockbox he hadn't touched in years. Inside: an old photo, creased and blood-stained.
A younger Nico. A woman beside him. smiling. Armed.
her name was Allegra.

LOCATION: MIDTOWN-ISABELLA'S HQ
Gianna slammed a file onto the table. "you need to see this."
inside were surveillance shots. Allegra Moretti. former assassin. Declared dead.
now seen meeting with Costanzo.
"She's alive," Gianna said. "And she's working for Ricci."
Isabella's jaw clenched. "And Nico didn't tell me."
LOCATION: ROOFTOP-MIDNIGHT.
Nico stood alone, smoke curling from a cigarette. He didn't turn when Isabella stepped up behind him.
"you knew she was alive," she said quietly.
"I suspected," he said. "didn't want it to be true."
"you still love her?"
he turned then. "I did once. before she tried to kill me."
A beat of silence.
"she's the one thing Ricci could use to break you,"
Isabella said. "and now he will."
Nico nodded.
"Then I'll kill her first."
MEANWHILE -RICCI ESTATE
Costanzo and Allegra stood over a map of Isabella's supply lines.
"she trusts him," Allegra said. "she won't see it coming.
Costanzo smirked. "then it's time we pull the pin."
FINAL SCENE-ISABELLA'S WAREHOUSE, LATER THAT NIGHT
An explosion rocked the rear compound. Fire. smoke. screams. As alarms blared, Isabella raced through the halls- and found a message painted in ash on the wall
"HE'S NOT WHO YOU THINK."
Below it, a black card with Allegra's name burned into the center.
