Gianna stepped inside, expecting silence.
Instead, the lights snapped on—blinding.
Nico stood by the wall. Armed.
And Isabella? Seated in the center of the room like a judge waiting for the gavel.
On the table before her: the photos. The drive. The proof.
Gianna's face crumbled. "You were never supposed to get hurt. The warehouse—"
"Was my home," Isabella interrupted coldly. "And you gave it away."
"I had no choice," Gianna whispered.
"There's always a choice," Nico said. "You just picked the coward's one."
Isabella stood, fire flashing in her eyes.
"I don't kill without cause," she said. "But I'll bury traitors with no hesitation."
A beat.
Then Gianna dropped to her knees.
"Give me one shot to make this right," she said. "Please. One shot."
Isabella stared, heart hard as marble.
"Get out of my sight," she hissed. "One whisper back to Costanzo, and I'll make you wish I left you in that fire."
Gianna fled—ashamed, broken. Alive.
But watched.

Elsewhere – Costanzo's Private Estate
Allegra stood with Nico outside the perimeter, both in black.
They'd broken in before.
But this time, they weren't breaking in to spy.
They were going to send a message.
They hit the perimeter guard first—fast, clean. Slipped inside the house and went straight for the vault.
Inside, they found it: blueprints, targets, the full list of Ricci's kill orders.
And in the corner, a wall of photographs.
Isabella. Nico. Allegra.
Marked with red Xs.
All except one.
A photo of Gianna. Circle around her name. A note: "Keep her close. She cracks them all."
Allegra hissed, "She was more than a rat. She was the fuse."
They torched the room.
Left nothing but smoke.

Costanzo stood in front of Ricci, humiliated.
"They hit the vault," he said.
"And let you live?" Ricci asked, swirling his wine. "How poetic."
He rose.
"I'm done playing with children."
He nodded to his guards.
"Bring the asset online."

A steel door hissed open.
Inside, chained and drugged, was a man no one had seen in two years.
Matteo Moretti.
Alive.
Barely.
"Time to use the king," Ricci said, watching the monitors flicker on. "And watch the queen fall."

Nico returned with Allegra.
Isabella looked up from the map. "Did we get it?"
Allegra tossed her a scorched file.
"All of it. Including one very ugly twist."
Nico locked eyes with her. "Ricci's keeping someone alive."
"Who?" Isabella asked.
Allegra hesitated.
Then:
"Your father."
