Looking at the low ceiling that serves as the only cover of his current residence from the sun and rain, Azrael sighs in satisfaction as he finally gets a place he can stay in during his time in the second floor of the tower, hoping that it wouldn't be too long of a time compared to the time he stayed on the first floor.
Looking at the small screen mounted on one of the walls of his now residence, the young man found the remote lying on a table just a few centimeters away from him, this low table also having a single ashtray and a flower vase right in the middle of it, the stain on both these objects making it clear to him just how much uncared for this place is.
As he presses the remote, the screen of the mounted television springs into color and life, the sound from its clearly low-quality speaker making the young man feel like this thing just barely works.
"And now, for the latest news on the frontier, the Six Great Legia were witnessed meeting once again, this time on the witch's territory right on the northmost part of the frontier's safe zone, as for the things they discussed, there are speculations that they are planning to forfeit challenging the current highest floor for now and start preparing to strengthen their main combat force first, for the details gathered, Reporter Andre Michaels is on-site"
Hearing the words from the young lady reporting on the station, Azrael's interest was piqued when he heard information about the Six Great Legia and their progress on ascending to higher floors, his mind already starting to wonder what is taking them so long to break through the tenth floor when they are rapidly breaking through the floors before that with ease, only taking them less than half a decade to ascend to the floor they are all currently on.
"Just what sort of quest do they need to accomplish that they take more than half a decade and still fail? Is the tenth floor really that hard?" muttering to himself as he waits for the person on-site to start his report, Azrael wonders, the mysteries of the tower something that he is not able to figure out hence why he just dropped this wondering as he knows that eventually, he will find out the tenth floor's difficulty for himself.
'It might take a long time, but I will eventually get there…' he thought to himself with a smile on his face as he saw on the screen, another face familiar to him, someone unforgettable as she is one of the people who had teamed up with him for them to be the first to conquer the first floor of the tower.
"Thank you, Lady Marie, I am currently right on the front gate of the Witch's Palace of Eternity, we are hoping to meet the witch but right now, we have the pleasure of being in the presence of another one of the six, Celestia Von Himmel, who is going to explain the current status of their ascent for the next, the eleventh floor"
Appearing on the screen is a middle-aged man with quite the rugged, lethargic look to him, yet somehow, his voice is capable of being attention grabbing that viewers are mostly waiting for him to appear, some even fangirling on him stating that there's just a unique charm to him that other men just couldn't compare to.
This charm that those fangirls are seeing however, is not a single bit effective on the cheerful, beautiful lady standing in front of this reporter however, said lady merely smiling modestly as she looks in front of the camera, not a single tinge of nervousness in her poise, demonstrating clearly just how composed a leader of one of the Six Great Legia can be.
"Thank you for the introduction, fellow ascender…" handing the microphone to her, this lady smiles towards the reporter making him flinch as he felt like his soul is being sucked by this lady with her gaze alone, only managing to shake off this feeling as he tries his best to clear his mind, making himself feel embarrassed as he thought that he shouldn't really be acting like this towards a lady far younger than himself.
Looking at the confused and mesmerized gaze of the reporter, Celestia immediately grouped him on the type of men who are the same as anyone else, her smile changing as she starts telling the audience about the current status of their ascent to the eleventh floor of the tower.
"Given the current state of affair, us six understands that it is just impossible to barge in the Temple of Despair head on, especially when there are a lot of monsters and other dangerous creatures on the way, not to mention the confusing traps that just won't let us progress in peace., we decided to withhold conquering the Temple of Despair for now, and focus more on improving our forces' overall strength so we stand a better chance to conquer the temple"
"Of course, we wouldn't completely give up on the temple just like the rumors say, but rather, from now on, we will only send scouts who are confident of their abilities to roam in and out of the Temple of Despair safely to map out the course that we will take next time we launch a full-scale attack on the temple, as for the specifics of this plan, we would prefer to keep it to ourselves for now"
Finishing her explanation, Celestial handed the microphone back to the reporter, who was still a bit mesmerized looking at the lady's face, making him doubt his own mental fortitude that was honed by this job of his that he has been doing for several decades now.
"And that is the situation on the witch's Palace of Eternity, this is Andre Michaels reporting, back to you, Lady Marie" clearing his throat in an attempt to regain his bearing, the middle-aged reporter ends his words, the screen on Azrael's old television now returning to the lady starting the report previously.
"It's been a while, Celestia…" smiling as he recalls the face of one of the Six Great Legia's leader on the television screen, the young man mutters with reminiscence in his eyes, this expression of his not lasting for long as he decided to get out for now and tour the city he is currently in, hoping to find something interesting for the night.
