Chapter 25 - Chpater 25 - Twin's game (2)

On the 13th floor of Alexander's High School, a woman in bunny pajamas lay on her bed, staring at her phone.

"Sigh," she exhaled, still looking at the screen.

Knock knock

A knock came from the other side of the door.

"Come in~," she called.

The door opened, revealing a woman who looked exactly like the one on the bed.

"Luisa," said the woman on the bed.

"Maria, you read the message from Mr. Joshua, right?"

"Yes, I did..."

"Sigh~~" Both sighed in unison.

Maria walked over to her twin sister Luisa and sat beside her.

"So? Did we catch the rat who snuck in?" she asked.

"Nope. I ran a recognition scan on him, but we don't have anyone like that in our database. No facial matches."

"So we're in the dark here?" Maria asked.

"Not exactly," Luisa replied.

She scrolled through her phone until she reached a photo. In it, a middle-aged man smiled at the guard, John.

"Who's this guy?"

"That's Carly's father. Mr. Thorson."

"And? What about him?"

"You see… currently, Mr. Thorson is in England. Funny, right?"

"You mean..."

"It's probably the same guy who infiltrated.""Wow~," Luisa said, staring at the picture.

"What?"

"I'm just amazed that someone managed to pull off such a good disguise. It's… fascinating, to say the least."

Maria rolled her eyes and grabbed her laptop from nearby.

"So, I managed to infect the stolen laptop. The ransomware I sent yesterday worked. For now, I left some fake data on it so our little Houdini doesn't get suspicious. Once he starts using it, we'll be able to track his location."

"Good! That's my sister!" Luisa said, hugging Maria.Maria pushed her away and stretched.

"Of course I am~," Luisa replied.

Then, out of nowhere, she threw an object that landed just inches from Maria's face.Maria gave her a deadpan look as Luisa walked over and picked up the knife, sliding it back into her waistband.

"When you get that guy's location, call me~," Luisa said while walking toward the door.

"I'm so looking forward to it~," she added with a smile.

........................

Right now, I was in a predicament.

As I looked at the three naked men and the woman in front of me, my head started to hurt.

[What's wrong?]

'Leaving aside John, who I haven't used [Chain] on yet… what the hell am I supposed to do with the other three?'

[Maybe… just let them go?]

'Come on, sis, I'm being serious here!'

It was already 6:00 a.m., and I needed to make a decision—soon.

"What are you planning to do with us!?" the woman asked.

"What to do indeed…" Noah muttered.

He walked across the room and picked up some clothes, then approached Michelle.

"What… what are you planning…!?" she stammered.

"Stay still."

I dressed her.

Sigh. Finally.

Though I did it as a precaution, it was getting harder and harder to leave her like that.Ever since… that happened… it had become difficult for me to look at a naked woman.

Of course, if she were a target, I wouldn't care. But this girl? She was just a tool—nothing more.

"Put the rest on yourself," I said, handing her the pants I had taken the day before.

"..." She blushed and took the clothes.

I turned to the men still watching me. I handed them their clothes.

"Don't try anything funny… or I'll kill you," I said.

They just nodded and dressed in silence.

Now… back to the real issue.

What to do?

Hmm...

I looked at John, and suddenly… an idea struck me.

"Stand up," I ordered.John stood.

"You three, watch this carefully," I said to the others.

"What are you planning?" John asked.

"Nothing much… just a little demonstration.""[Chain]!"

Black mist coiled around John's neck. He flinched in shock. I turned to the other three with a grin.

"My command is… [Forget who you are]!"

"Yes… master," John responded.

His eyes went dim. He stood motionless for a few seconds before opening them again.

"Huh?"

"Hello," I greeted him.

"Huh… hi…"

"Do you know who I am?"

"I-I don't think I do…"

"I see. Then… do you know them?" I pointed to John's companions.

He turned his head to look at Lean, Robert, and Michelle. Grabbing his head in pain, he shook it.

"I-I don't think so?"

"Commander!?" Robert exclaimed.

"One last question… Do you know who you are?" I asked.

"I-I… who—who am I? Of course I'm… I…"John's voice faltered. Despair set in as he struggled to recall, but something blocked him—completely.

"I see… thank you," I said.

"Huh?"

PLUNK!

I struck the back of his head.

I'll bring him back to the school later. He's not a threat now.

"What did you do to the commander!?" Lean yelled.

"That's an interesting question," I said.

"But there's an even more interesting one…"

I crouched down, meeting their eyes.

"What should I do with you three?" I asked, smiling.
