Kakashi's body trembled.
The Kamui space felt suffocating. Every breath grew harder. He knew his opponent hadn't even unleashed his full strength. Obito had only scratched the surface of his abilities. The terrifying Wood Style remained mostly unused.
Then… something began draining his chakra.
"Wha—what is this…?" Kakashi muttered, gasping.
White spores burst from his skin, blooming like unnatural fungi. Slowly, they merged and coalesced—forming a twisted, semi-human face on his shoulder.
He tried to lift his arm. Nothing. He tried to move. Nothing.
All his strength was gone.
Kakashi collapsed to his knees, his vision flickering.
Obito stood before him, calm, his Sharingan glowing. "Don't worry. I won't kill you. I just need to take something back. Sleep well, Kakashi."
His eye morphed into the Mangekyō pattern, and with a slow blink, he cast a genjutsu, plunging Kakashi into paralysis.
"Come back to me… my eye."
Obito reached forward, gently pressing his thumb to Kakashi's eye socket. With a slow twist, he removed the Sharingan.
Blood trailed down his cheek, but he didn't flinch. Removing the mask from his own face, he carefully inserted the stolen eye into its rightful place.
The eye flickered, then glowed. Hashirama cells in his body began to repair the nerves immediately, connecting the visual cortex and restoring full function.
"The vision is sharp… clearer than before. The chakra flow… strong. But…" Obito frowned. "Why can't I feel resonance?"
He had expected that possessing both his eyes again would unlock greater potential, greater power.
But one eye was Mangekyō.
The other remained a standard Sharingan.
"Kakashi... you never even developed it. How did I lose to you over and over again?" Obito whispered, disgust and disappointment in his voice.
He looked back down—and froze.
Kakashi was still awake, staring at him, horrified.
Obito sighed. "Still resisting, even under genjutsu? Looks like your eye was shielding you from full illusion effects. But it doesn't matter now."
With a second wave of Mangekyō, Obito cast a deeper genjutsu, knocking Kakashi out completely.
---
Back in the real world, a spiraling portal opened near the Konoha Memorial Stone.
Obito emerged, dragging Kakashi's unconscious body. He laid him down gently before vanishing again into the night.
Black Zetsu followed behind, grumbling.
In the depths of Kamui space, Obito clenched both fists, his new dual-vision staring into the void.
He felt it—the stirring power in his eyes. The whisper of a new potential.
"Ha… haha… HAHAHAHA…!"
His laughter echoed madly in the empty dimension.
"I'm finally whole again. Two eyes—my eyes. Now I'll awaken Mangekyō in both. I'll forge a Susanoo that even the gods will fear!"
Black Zetsu stared, unimpressed.
"You're laughing now like you planned this all along. You never even seemed this desperate for your eye before."
But Obito didn't care.
It was his eye.
And now that it had returned to him, enhanced by Kakashi's years of use, it pulsed with latent potential.

Harbor Pier — The Uchiha City That Never Sleeps
Far from the quiet halls of Konoha, a new city was rising.
At the seafront of the Land of Fire, where once there had been barren coastline, now stood a thriving nexus of industry and power: Evernight City, the capital of Uchiha's future.
After their departure from Konoha, the Uchiha clan, under Andrew's leadership, had secured permission from the Fire Daimyo to establish autonomous territory.
But Andrew didn't settle for a village. He was building a metropolis.
Evernight City, constructed with the help of Uchiha's industrial muscle and the wealth of the Uchiha Group, was quickly becoming the most advanced settlement in the entire shinobi world.
The design had been personally overseen by Andrew, who repurposed military, economic, and entertainment elements to form a strategic and economic powerhouse.
The city walls were structured like a fortress, each sector lined with sealing techniques, security outposts, and chakra-sensitive traps.
Although Uchiha wasn't famous for sealing arts like the Uzumaki, their ancient scrolls held more than enough foundational techniques to reinforce the city from invasion or sabotage.
Within the city, industries flourished. Orochimaru, hidden from the world and operating under Andrew's patronage, was now researching new forms of chakra weaponry, internal combustion systems, and scientific ninja tools.
Andrew's vision was clear:
> "We won't just be strong. We'll be irreplaceable."
The plan included:
Casinos, inspired by past-world entertainment
Arcade halls, virtual combat simulations
Movie theaters, projecting memories through Genjutsu or chakra crystal
Ninja-themed amusement parks and training camps
Crash-course academies, taught by retired Uchiha shinobi
Even ninja from other villages would want to visit.
Andrew was determined to offer what Konoha never could: personal growth, freedom, and access to true power.
---
Fugaku Uchiha stood atop the western watchtower, overseeing the deployment of sealing crews.
Seeing Andrew approach, he waved.
"You heard the news, didn't you? Cloud Shinobi and Rock Shinobi have started fighting."
Andrew nodded.
"It's earlier than I expected, but not unwelcome. This is the moment we've been preparing for."
Fugaku blinked. "So… are we going to get involved?"
Andrew smiled faintly, pulling a map from his scroll pouch.
"Cloud Shinobi." He tapped the area between their border and the Fire Nation.
"They have the best route. They're aggressive. And more importantly—they're rich in resources."
Fugaku chuckled. "You're not thinking about joining the war, are you?"
"Not exactly. We don't fight for land or pride. We fight for profit."
Andrew's plan was already in motion.
For months, the Uchiha Group had been secretly stockpiling strategic resources—metal, chakra crystal, food, rare scrolls, fuel.
Each Uchiha-owned company contributed a portion.
While they didn't have the total mobilization power of a hidden village, Uchiha's industrial backbone allowed them to make up for it in logistics.
"We'll sell to Cloud. Weapons, armor, food, chakra pills. Let them crush Rock Shinobi and deepen the war."
Fugaku nodded slowly.
He understood.
Konoha wanted to pretend neutrality.
But Uchiha?
They would sell weapons while the world burned.
"Let Konoha wring its hands in meetings. We'll profit from both peace and chaos." Andrew said.
And when the nations realized who supplied the winning side…
Uchiha wouldn't just be feared.
They would be needed.
