Luka didn't return to his rooms, despite being road weary, instead, his steps took him to the infirmary, returning to the second thing he had left behind at the royal castle.
Physician Demetrio was surprised to see him, the Royal Physician keeping to himself that Lord Luka as well as Prince Alessio and Prince Silvan coincidentally managed to pay him a visit on the exact same day, twice in a row.
"Your Grace," He acknowledged his presence, going right away to retrieve the patient that had been entrusted to him without another word. There was little to be said, it had been several weeks and the bird was completely healed. Despite no longer being in pain, the little bluebird remained listless and Demetrio hadn't heard a single chirp from the bird.
Luka stood in the receiving room while Physician Demetrio went off somewhere. He was visibly road weary but despite that, he had made sure his cravat was fixed and his hair was neatly tied before he paid a visit to Alessio.
