Chapter 29
"Mommy, mommy!" Jasmine called loudly, running to the room, her face scrunched dramatically, with her arms at her sides.
"What happened, darling?" Katherine groaned from the bed, rubbing her sleepy eyes groggily as she stifled a yawn. Weekends were meant for sleeping in to one's heart's desire with zero to no disturbance. But hell to her Sherlock—she had kids.
"We don't mean to wake you—" Hanith mumbled as Jasmine cut in.
"But cereal has finished," Jasmine finished.
Shit! Katherine cursed internally. She had made a mental note to buy it when coming from work yesterday but she forgot. Interrupted sleep—half sleep—was the price to pay for not buying the cereal.
Katherine sighed, removing the blanket. "Get ready in 20, we are going to the store to get the necessary things." She'd use the opportunity to fill in groceries also.
