Damian stood on the deck of the ship as the Magenta coastline came into view. The sharp sea breeze buffeted his face, but that wasn't what made his jaw clench.

He could also see that the stone road leading to Magenta Palace had been decorated with a colorful red fabric.

His hands clenched at his sides. "It can't be…" he muttered, his voice almost lost in the sound of the waves. Every second of the journey felt way too slow. Bad thoughts started spinning in his head.
