When they had fully set sail, Ember ordered that both the Sea Breaker and Crescent Flame be slowed down in order to enable the gangway—a connecting bridge— to be put in place.
Once that was done, she began to make her way for the Crescent Flame, but this time around she was not so foolish enough to not take a guard with her. Captain Tassius accompanied her, and while the Captain might not necessarily be present in the same room as her and Khaos, it was still comforting knowing that someone was looking out for her nonetheless.
Never would she allow herself to be left in a compromising situation with the High Lord. And not to mention the rather forward threat from Vaness Ashwyck, Ember was no longer interested in encouraging the wild imaginations of blood sucking, vengeful women who made the error of thinking that she was in—the gods forbid—a relationship with their High Lord dearest.
