"The one who decided to destroy the Mind Stone is actually Vision! I must say, this is somewhat unexpected!"
Thor's voice rang out first, expressing his surprise.
The Mind Stone had become part of Vision's body; destroying it would directly and severely impact his life. It was tantamount to playing with his own life.
Only someone prepared to die could make such a decision. The fact that
a robot would have such a high level of awareness was truly unexpected for Thor.
In fact, not only Thor, but all the other participants were also somewhat surprised.
They couldn't help but recall when Vision was first created by Tony Stark and his team.
At that time, everyone was wary of Vision, even hostile.
Because back then, Vision was a hybrid of Jarvis and Ultron.
No one could be certain whether Jarvis defeated Ultron's Matrix or vice versa; no one could truly trust Vision.
But who could have imagined that Vision, whom everyone couldn't trust then, was actually such a loyal and reliable partner?
"So it seems Captain Rogers' operation in Wakanda ultimately failed; Vision's Mind Stone was never removed,"
Scott Lang's voice followed, shaking his head with regret.
Everyone knows the final outcome of the Infinity War: Thanos forcibly pried the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead.
Vision died so tragically.
It was truly heartbreaking.
"It's a pity I wasn't on Earth then; otherwise, I could definitely have removed Vision's stone and destroyed it!"
Tony Stark said with equal regret, though his regret differed from Scott Lang's.
In this respect, Tony Stark was quite confident.
"Yeah, why weren't you on Earth?"
Strange added casually. "Wasn't it your brilliant idea? You actually planned for the three of us to fight Thanos! Good heavens, I actually agreed! Was I out of my mind?"
Based on the information revealed from so many quizzes, there was no doubt that Tony Stark and Doctor Strange were on Titan during the Infinity War.
Strange had complained about this countless times.
Even if Tony Stark was incredibly powerful, and the nanotech armor was amazing, there was no way three people could defeat Thanos, right?
Wasn't that a joke?
Only someone with a screw loose would make that decision. Tony Stark's arrogance was on full display at that time.
Thanos was a cosmic overlord!
Not only was his own strength unparalleled, but he also had the largest fleet in interstellar space. Could he really be defeated by an individual?
In fact, looking at the entire process of fighting Thanos, it was filled with many regrets, because there were countless opportunities to kill Thanos!
But the superheroes failed to seize them.
Or perhaps fate favored Thanos time and again.
Of course, thinking this way now inevitably smacks of hindsight.
In the midst of the Infinity War, without a God's-eye view, achieving the level of the major powers in the main universe is already quite impressive.
[Question: The Heavenly Sword Bureau created White Vision to kill Scarlet Witch, but Vision stopped him in time. How did Vision stop White Vision and make him abandon his mission?]
[A. Defeating White Vision with overwhelming power]
[B. Teaming up with Scarlet Witch to defeat White Vision]
[C. Persuading White Vision with reason]
[D. Cracking the Heavenly Sword Bureau system and ordering White Vision to abandon his mission]
[Friendly Reminder: Correct answers will be rewarded with a Qimen Flying Armor;
incorrect answers will result in the random deduction of one attribute, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, possessions, etc.]
As the discussion reached this point, the system notification suddenly sounded, attracting everyone's attention.
A new question had appeared.
It must be said that this question was quite interesting, immediately piquing everyone's interest.
"White Vision? What does that mean?"
Peter Parker immediately pointed to the question on the big screen and asked everyone excitedly, "Could it be another Vision?"
"It should be Vision, right?"
Scott Lang nodded, agreeing with Peter Parker's guess. "The question says it was 'manufactured,' so it should obviously be a robot. Considering its name, this White Vision is most likely a copy or imitation of Vision. Maybe it's white, hence the name White Vision."
No one in the audience raised much objection to Scott Lang's guess; it was a reasonable and logical assumption.
That "White Vision" was most likely a white Vision.
"Whether White Vision is a copy of Vision or not, he should still be a robot." Thor shrugged, looking indifferent. "This doesn't affect our answers, right?"
"That's true." Strange agreed. "Knowing that White Vision is a powerful 'killer robot' is enough. What I'm more interested in now is S.W.O.P." S.W.O.P
!
With Strange's words, everyone's attention was involuntarily drawn to those three words.
Although no one currently knew what kind of organization this so-called S.W.O.R.D. was, the fact that they could produce intelligent robots similar to Vision was quite telling.
While it wasn't certain that White Vision was a clone of Vision, the fact that S.W.O.R.D. sent White Vision to assassinate Scarlet Witch indicated that White Vision was incredibly powerful. He was far
beyond the capabilities of ordinary intelligent robots.
He was at least far superior to Iron Man's early Iron Man suits!
In fact, he was superior to all of Iron Man's suits except for the nanotech suit, since Scarlet Witch's power was truly immense.
She was not someone that ordinary robots could handle.
The fact that the Heavenly Sword Bureau can manufacture robots of this caliber speaks volumes.
Even with the size of S.H.I.E.L.D., they couldn't do something like this. S.W.O.R.D. is clearly an incredibly powerful organization.
"S.W.O.R.D., wow, according to the usual movie formula, any organization daring to choose such a powerful name is definitely not an ordinary one,"
Peter Parker remarked casually.
"Rogers," Tony Stark immediately turned to Captain America, asking in a deep voice, "Have you heard of this organization?"
"Never heard of it," Captain America shook his head.
"Even the Captain hasn't heard of it?" Scott Lang frowned slightly. "Is this organization too mysterious, or has it not yet been established?"
Captain America had worked at S.H.I.E.L.D. for so many years; he was intimately familiar with all sorts of organizations worldwide.
Organizations Captain America didn't know about were either utterly worthless and insignificant,
or they possessed such immense power that they could perfectly conceal themselves, evading S.H.I.E.L.D.'s detection.
Everyone leaned towards the latter.
Another possibility, as Scott Lang mentioned, is that S.W.O.R.D. might not have been established yet. Whether this is true or not requires everyone's judgment and investigation.
The group discussed S.W.O.R.D. briefly, but remained clueless and unable to grasp the point.
"Alright everyone, we can discuss S.W.O.R.D. after the quiz. Now, let's answer the questions carefully."
Seeing that everyone had strayed from the topic, Captain America immediately spoke up, bringing everyone's attention back.
Everyone temporarily focused their attention back on the large screen.
"Okay, let's look at the questions."
Tony Stark spoke first, analyzing option A, "Vision defeated White Vision? That's certainly possible, but I think it's unlikely." After
stating his judgment, without waiting for any questions, Tony Stark continued to provide the basis for his assessment.
"First, while we can't be certain that White Vision is the same Vision, the possibility is high. And if White Vision really is another Vision, their strength should be roughly equal."
"Second, everyone, look closely at the question. If Vision really defeated White Vision, wouldn't the question simply say 'defeated White Vision'? Why say 'stopped White Vision, made him abandon the mission'?"
"That doesn't fit our usual way of describing things, does it?"
"The use of the word 'stopped' indicates that Vision probably didn't defeat White Vision!"
"Stark is right." Thor immediately nodded repeatedly. "I feel the same way. White Vision shouldn't be so easy to defeat."
Not only Thor, but everyone else present unanimously agreed with Tony Stark's opinion.
Option A was essentially eliminated without much doubt.
"Then what about teaming up with Scarlet Witch to defeat Vision?"
Thor then turned his attention to option B, following Tony Stark's line of thought. "Even if they did defeat him together, we would use 'defeat' rather than 'stop' when describing this, right?"
"So… based on language conventions, option B can also be ruled out, right?"
"If that's the case, doesn't that mean Vision and Scarlet Witch together wouldn't be a match for Vision?" Peter Parker immediately expressed his doubts. "According to shared information, Scarlet Witch is one of the strongest members of the Avengers. If she and Vision together couldn't defeat Vision, is Vision really that powerful?"
"That's a possibility." Captain America interjected. "But it's not the only possibility. It's also possible that what option B describes never happened, and Vision didn't team up with Scarlet Witch to fight him."
"No, no, no," Strange shook his head. "The reason that it doesn't conform to the language description habits is sufficient for option A, but for option B, I don't think it's so sufficient. I ask everyone, if Vision teamed up with Scarlet Witch to defeat White Vision, does that count as Vision defeating White Vision?"
"Of course it does! Even if he teamed up with Scarlet Witch, Vision still made a move, didn't he?" Peter Parker immediately said matter-of-factly.
"Well…" Scott Lang shook his head. "I think it's still a bit far-fetched. When we say we've defeated someone, we usually mean defeating them alone, right? If Vision teamed up with others to defeat White Vision, how does that count as Vision defeating him?"
A heated discussion ensued regarding the question of whether "teaming up with others to defeat someone counts as defeating them."
Some thought it did, others thought it didn't, and no consensus could be reached.
"Let's leave this option undecided," Captain America finally decided. "Eliminating this option based solely on the language description habits is indeed a bit of a stretch."
Option B is, after all, different from option A.
Option A, besides the reason of language usage habits, has another reason for exclusion. Considering both reasons, everyone agrees that it should be excluded.
However, option B, besides language usage habits, has no other reason for exclusion. Considering everything, it is indeed more reasonable to leave it pending.
Option B is discussed for now. Next, it's option C's turn.
Everyone thinks this option is a bit ridiculous.
"Persuade White Vision? That's a bit too absurd, isn't it?" Peter Parker chuckled, saying it as if it were a matter of course.
Peter Parker had been a member of the "Questioners' Alliance" for some time and was very clear about the strength of Vision, a big shot. Naturally, he didn't dare to underestimate White Vision either.
He even naturally used Vision as a template to compare White Vision.
This kind of existence, comparable to Vision, was actually persuaded to carry out an assassination mission?
It was just too ridiculous.
"After all this time, finally, another question about persuasion has appeared."
Thor chuckled, turning to Peter Parker. "Peter, that's not necessarily true. I remember there was a question before where the answer was persuasion."
"Not bad, Thor. You actually remember. Looks like I've been underestimating your intelligence." Tony Stark glanced at Thor, even his compliments were sarcastic.
Thor: "..."
If he weren't already quite familiar with Tony Stark, he would have mercilessly swung his hammer at him.
"There was a question back then about how Banner got the Time Stone from the Ancient One, Peter. The answer to that question was persuasion."
Tony Stark ignored Thor's resentful look and spoke casually to Peter Parker.
