Chapter 220 - A new round of questions, Thor: My father is dead?

  Boom boom boom!

Suddenly, the passageway was filled with explosions, screams, and scattered limbs, reminiscent of a full-scale horror film.

Hawkeye Barton was truly remarkable. No matter how complex the battle terrain, he seemed to always find the right high ground.

Transforming himself into a ghost in the night, he launched a fierce attack on the enemy.

Of course, the enemy was simply too numerous. Even with Barton's swift arrows and numerous explosive arrows, he couldn't eliminate them all in a short time.

  Whoosh!

At the critical moment, Tony Stark flew in, first firing a missile in a gesture of respect, blasting the charging soldiers to the ground.

Then, holding his invulnerable body, he slammed into the enemy with unparalleled dominance.

  Bang!

With one punch, Tony Stark sent one enemy flying.

  Bang!

Another kick sent another flying backwards.

  Bang, bang, bang!

Several soldiers fell to the ground, shot.

"Banner, the enemy numbers are simply too great. We need to relieve the pressure!"

Tony Stark shouted to Dr. Banner over the comms channel while battling the enemy.

"That's right, Captain. I agree with you, Stark. Let's get the guys out!" Hawkeye Barton echoed in the comms.

"Okay!" Captain America's voice echoed over the comms channel, agreeing, "Banner, please unleash your fury."

  "Roar!"

Immediately, a beast-like roar echoed throughout the mothership.

  Boom, boom, boom!

The entire warship suddenly began to shake violently, as if the sky was collapsing, the world was about to end, and a meteor shower had struck.

  The tremendous movement was terrifying.

Ronan glanced at the large screen in front of him again.

He saw a giant, over two meters tall, with green skin, rampaging through the mothership, wreaking havoc.

With a casual punch, the opponent ripped through a wall. With a single bound, he leaped several meters high.

  Swish!

  Swish!

The surrounding soldiers, of course, weren't immune to the attack. They immediately fired their triggers at the Hulk, scattering countless energy grenades that rained down upon him.

  Yet...

  "Roar!"

Amidst the hail of bullets, the Hulk remained unscathed!

The protective effects of his combat suit, combined with the Hulk's inherent formidable defense, meant the surrounding firepower, powerful enough to rip anyone into a hornet's nest, had no effect on the Hulk. This only

  intensified the Hulk's rage.

With a single bound, he soared several meters into the air and slammed down like a meteorite.

A massive crater was immediately created in the ground, and several alien soldiers who couldn't dodge were crushed to pulp by the Hulk.

Then, the Hulk swung his casserole-sized fist and began to hammer through the soldiers.

  A horrific human tragedy unfolded.

To describe the scene as a wolf among the sheep wouldn't be an exaggeration.

  "Gudong!"

Ronan swallowed instinctively, his previous composure and demeanor vanishing in an instant.

Boundless shock, a touch of panic, washed over him.

  "What the hell is that?"

Ronan couldn't help but exclaim, his pupils constricting.

He didn't even have the confidence to confront that green monster head-on.

  Boom!

At that moment, another loud noise echoed before their eyes. It was the door before them, smashed open with a powerful force.

A burly, imposing man in a cape, helmet, and hammer stalked in with unstoppable force.

Needless to say, the soldiers on the scene were about to pull the trigger and pummel the burly man like a hornet's nest.

But at that moment, the burly man grinned.

  Crack!

His entire body began to radiate dazzling lightning. He raised his hammer and gently pointed it forward.

  Crackling!

Frightening bolts of lightning flashed outward, sweeping through the crowd like fallen leaves in an autumn wind, sending everyone falling to the ground. Only

Ronan, at the crucial moment, swung his hammer to block Thor's lightning, saving himself from being electrocuted.

  "Who the hell are you?"

Ronan's voice rang out, his gaze fixed on Thor, his composure gone.

Thor instinctively glanced at the corpses strewn around him and gasped.

The strength of this man in the red cape was truly terrifying.

He was no match for him.

"You invade Earth with a fleet, and you don't know who we are?" Thor couldn't help but curl his lips and sneer.

  "Earth?"

Ronan was stunned for a moment, completely frozen in place, a look of disbelief on his face.

These terrifying creatures were actually from Earth?

  How was this possible?

When did such terrifying people appear on Earth?

Thinking back to the "Golden Woman" who had single-handedly frightened him away decades ago, Ronan couldn't help but roar in his heart.

  Unscientific!

  This is unscientific!

It's clearly just a poor and backward little planet, why are there so many monsters?

Ronan couldn't figure it out no matter how hard he tried. Whether it was the woman who had sent Nebula flying through the air with one punch, the green giant who could smash everything, or the lightning man in front of him, they were all too terrifying.

Why would such powerful beings flock to Earth when countless planets couldn't find them?

But now, Ronan finally understood one thing: why didn't Thanos invade Earth himself, instead asking him to do it? He

'd been tricked by that old idiot!

Ronan regretted it deeply. If he had known, he wouldn't have listened to that old idiot and attacked Earth.

Now, he might even lose his life.

"Aggressors, expect to pay a price! Ronan the Accuser, it's time to pay!"

Thor's voice interrupted Ronan's thoughts, and he rushed towards him

, his hammer in hand. Ronan didn't say a word, swinging his hammer as well and charging towards Thor. He

smashed the hammer down hard against Thor.

  Bang!

  The two hammers collided fiercely.

  Boom!

A terrifying wave of force suddenly rippled out, shaking Ronan's body and sending him stumbling backwards.

The hammer in his hand nearly flew out of his grasp. His entire arm felt numb and stagnant from the shock, his blood stagnation

clogging his chest. It felt like a dull hammer had struck him in the chest.

  "So strong!"

Ronan exclaimed inwardly, his fear of Thor growing even greater. Not wanting to be careless, he swung his hammer fiercely at Thor once more.

  Buzz!

A powerful energy wave suddenly emanated from Ronan's hammer, blasting towards Thor.

This wave was incredibly powerful; Ronan had used it against the Chitauri leader, spinning his head 180 degrees.

But unfortunately, Ronan was now facing Thor.

More precisely, Thor, having consumed the Super Divine Water and unleashed his full potential, had reached his peak.

How could such a Thor be dealt with by a single energy wave from Ronan?

Thor swung his hammer lightly forward, instantly dispersing Ronan's energy wave.

Looking at that look, it was completely relaxed and happy, effortless.

"With only this level, you dare to invade the earth?" Thor's face was full of sarcasm, looking directly at Ronan and asked, "Tell me your purpose, why are you bringing a fleet to invade the earth?"

  "It's Thanos!"

Ronan didn't even think about it and directly confessed Thanos.

This guy was tricked by Thanos and now it can be said that he is full of resentment.

What's more, he has no so-called loyalty to Thanos. It's just that they use each other. Naturally, at this time, he would not fight for Thanos to the death.

  "Thanos? It's Thanos?"

Thor was slightly stunned, but then he was no longer surprised.

That guy had caused so many things on Earth, so he didn't care about this one more thing.

"I was also tricked by Thanos. This was all a misunderstanding."

Ronan immediately seized the opportunity and began to speak to Thor. "How about this? I'll take my people back now, and you can all pretend I never came."

"You're so naive!" Thor snorted coldly, hurling his hammer at Ronan and smashing it hard.

Ronan swung his hammer to block Thor's hammer.

  Crack!

But at that moment, Thor suddenly stretched out his hands towards Ronan.

Blazing lightning instantly shot out from Thor's hands, striking Ronan with all its might.

  "Ouch!"

Ronan groaned, and the electric shock knocked him to the ground, his hammer clattering to the ground.

But Ronan was no slouch after all; he was still a powerful ruler.

He gritted his teeth, climbed back up from the ground, glared at Thor, and shouted, "Do you really want to fight to the death?"

"No, no, no, you're the only one who'll die." Thor shook his head and smiled softly. He casually extended his hand, and Mjolnir flew back into his grasp.

Ronan knew this battle was inevitable, and he no longer entertained any hope.

He gripped the hammer tightly with both hands and charged at Thor once more.

  Boom boom boom!

  Clang clang clang!

A fierce battle ensued between the two. They

were like two human tanks. Wherever they crushed, it was swept away like a tornado, shattered by their battle.

It was a clash of strength against strength.

  No frills.

But without the Power Stone, Ronan's strength was ultimately limited. He was no match for Thor at his peak.

Though he managed to hold his own against Thor throughout, he was constantly outmatched, being hammered to the ground countless times.

A normal person would have been pounded to a pulp, but Ronan still had the strength to continue battling Thor. It must be said that Ronan was no weakling.

Unfortunately, the gap in absolute strength between the two was ultimately difficult to bridge.

Finally, with a swish,   Thor condensed a sharp spear-like lightning blade, piercing Ronan's heart.

Bang   !   Ronan's hammer crashed to the ground, his eyes wide with resentment, and he too collapsed.

  Gradually losing his life force.

  "The control room's been taken!"

Thor glanced at Ronan's body at his feet, then calmly averted his gaze. He then addressed everyone on the comms channel.

"We've secured the weapons depot, too!"

Captain America's voice echoed through the comms channel. "Stark, how's the situation over there?" "

The situation is completely under control, Captain. We can stop the Hulk now, or he'll tear the entire mothership apart."

  "Lure the Hulk here."

  "He's already gone!"

  "Roar!"

Sure enough, Captain America immediately heard the Hulk's distinctive, beast-like roar.

"Natasha, hold this place. I'll be back soon!"

Captain America signaled to Black Widow, then unleashed his Moonstep. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, he stomped through the air, shooting straight towards the passageway. His

  speed was incredible.

"What an enviable skill!" Black Widow, observing Captain America's slender form, couldn't help but exclaim with envy.

Captain America, who had gone to meet the Hulk, soon returned, but with an extra person by his side: Dr. Banner.

Thanks to his Saiyan battle suit, Dr. Banner avoided the awkward appearance of being naked.

  "How's our situation, Captain?"

Dr. Banner asked Captain America upon entering.

"The situation is largely under control. Only a few scattered pockets remain, but they're insignificant. Stark and Barton are dealing with them,"

  Captain America told Dr. Banner.

Dr. Banner felt relieved and nodded in satisfaction.

"What about those secondary ships out there?"

  Black Widow asked gravely.

They had captured the mothership, but it was only one warship; there were dozens more out there.

  "Leave it to me!"

  Suddenly, a voice rang out.

A green-skinned woman slowly walked in from the entrance.

  It was Gamora. Gamora

's face was determined, clearly having made a decision.

God knows what Gamora must have been going through. She had seen Ronan killed by Thor!

  That was Ronan!

Someone could actually hold Ronan down for the entire battle and then easily slay him!

Even Thanos couldn't match that kind of strength.

And it wasn't just Thor. Gamora had witnessed the strength of the Hulk, Hawkeye Barton, Iron Man, Captain America, and so many more along the way.

It had left her utterly shocked.

When had Earthlings become so perverted?

But amidst her shock, Gamora was also genuinely excited. Wasn't this the opportunity she'd been waiting for?

  Gamora decided to seize it!

  So she approached Captain America.

Everyone present had seen Gamora through the quiz system, so they all knew her and had a certain understanding of her.

So, everyone took Gamora's proposal seriously.

"What are you going to do?" Captain America paused for a moment before looking at Gamora sternly and asking.

"The ballistic warheads on the mothership are more than enough to destroy all the other secondary ships," Gamora replied. "I know how to launch them."

Captain America, Black Widow, and Dr. Banner exchanged glances and exchanged opinions. Then,

they shared the plan over the comms channel. After some deliberation, no one objected, and the plan was unanimously approved.

Without further ado, Gamora immediately began working in the weapons bay.

  Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

  Several ballistic missiles were launched.

  Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sky was filled with flames, blinding everyone and illuminating the surrounding starry sky.

By the time everything had returned to calm, all the enemies within the mothership had been annihilated,

save for one, Nebula, who still held out, and was captured .

So far, the battle could be considered a resounding victory.

Everyone gathered in the control room, the atmosphere relaxed and cheerful.

"Gamora, so your name is Gamora? Are you from a planet called Zehoberi?"

"Thanos destroyed your planet and adopted you? Just like that irritable old lady, making you his daughter?"

"That irritable old lady has a serious violent streak, and her brain isn't quite working."

Here, Gamora and the superheroes formally introduced themselves to each other, becoming acquainted.

After learning more about Gamora's identity, everyone was thrilled.

This would allow them to learn more about Thanos,

  which was crucial.

"Gamora, we all share a common goal: to destroy Thanos, so I think we should unite."

"But Earth's current strength isn't enough to deal with Thanos, so we need your help, and you need ours too."

"Come back to Earth with us. You won't be fighting alone anymore."

After a brief exchange, Captain America formally invited Gamora.

After a moment's deliberation, Gamora accepted.

Without further ado, everyone returned to Earth with Gamora and Nebula, arriving at the Answerer Base.

"Heroes who saved the world, welcome back,"

said Nick Fury, the legendary hero, waiting at the base entrance before ushering everyone into the conference room.

Needless to say, a series of post-war debriefings followed.

Besides some post-war events, Gamora primarily shared information about Thanos.

The Black Order, the distribution of Titan's forces, Thanos's exact strength, his fleets, and so much more—it was packed with valuable information. Everyone in the conference room couldn't

  help

but look grim after hearing this. Thanos was far more powerful than anyone had imagined.

Earth, with its current strength, simply didn't have the resources to stand up to him.

Even with Asgard's immense power, attacking Titan would cost them a terrible price.

How to deal with Thanos was a daunting task.

It wasn't something that could be decided quickly; it required a long-term plan.

"Everyone, I think I understand why my parallel self took such a huge risk to create Ultron,"

Tony Stark suddenly said, glancing at the crowd as the atmosphere in the conference room grew subdued.

"We need Ultron, we need the Iron Legion! Any questions?" Tony Stark stood up, his face brimming with righteous indignation.

  Everyone was speechless.

Even Captain America was speechless, unable to offer a rebuttal.

Today's events were fortunate. Tony Stark had created the invisible armor just in time, and everyone was able to hold off Ronan's fleet in outer space.

But who could guarantee such luck every time?

What if Ronan's fleet actually succeeded in invading Earth? How could Earth resist?

"Stark, this is a matter of grave importance. We need to discuss it carefully,"

Captain America said after a moment, expressing his concerns. "We should have all learned a lesson from the Battle of Sokovia!"

"That's why... I didn't create Ultron in three days, but instead spent a full nine months quantifying and analyzing the Scepter!"

"So, even though I've thoroughly studied the Scepter, I didn't just brute-force download the data. Instead, I planned to spend billions rebuilding the program!"

  "I think that's enough! I've done a great job!"

"Stark, you've already started studying the Scepter?" Captain America was caught off guard by the news.

Thor, Dr. Banner, Black Widow, and the others were equally surprised and shocked. They knew nothing about this matter.   But before anyone could say anything,

they were stunned .   The conference room suddenly froze in time.   Several people vanished.   The next moment,   Tony Stark, Captain America, Thor, and Dr. Banner felt their visions blur before they reappeared in a pure white space.   "This is the question-answering space you mentioned!" Dr. Banner was momentarily stunned, then suddenly realized what was happening.   He surveyed the room and saw that in addition to the four people in the conference room, there were two more people around.   One was Dr. Strange, a man he had met before, and the other was a slightly overweight-looking man.   "Star-Lord! You're Star-Lord Peter Quill!"   Dr. Banner recognized the man; he had seen Black Widow's portrait, so he naturally recognized him.   "A new round of questions?" Star-Lord was so excited; he had been looking forward to this moment for a long time.   Hearing Dr. Banner's greeting, he returned the greeting: "Hey, man, you've heard of me! How have you been?"   Strange, who was standing nearby, also came over to greet everyone.   The atmosphere was lively.   Soon, the first question appeared.   [Please listen to the question: Odin, Lord of the Nine Realms and a generation of God King, died in which of the following ways?]   [A. At the hands of Thanos, the Overlord of the Universe]   [B. At the hands of Hela, the Goddess of Death]   [C. At the hands of Dormammu, the Dark Lord]   [D.
