Hearing the system's voice, the smile on Star-Lord's face instantly froze.
"No way, the answer can't be me!" Star-Lord couldn't accept it.
But this was the system's judgment, and it couldn't be wrong. Star-Lord couldn't say anything to refute it.
"See, I told you! The answer is definitely Star-Lord!" Thor couldn't help but laugh out loud.
He also glanced at everyone around with some dissatisfaction. "You guys were seriously analyzing me, how absurd!"
[Congratulations to quiz taker Thor Odinson for receiving a Shielding Helmet!] [The reward has been issued. Please check it!]
With those words from the system, Thor instantly found a sleek yet imposing silver helmet in his hands.
"Excellent. With this helmet, I'll be immune to any form of mental attack. No one can disturb my mind again."
Thor nodded in satisfaction and immediately put the helmet on.
"It suits you, Thor," Black Widow said, giving Thor an approving look.
The helmet perfectly complemented Thor's armor, cape, and hammer, looking completely natural.
"So, this Shielding Helmet blocks mental control magic?" Captain America asked, unable to contain his curiosity.
"Not just magic, but other forms of power as well, like Loki's Scepter," Thor explained to Captain America.
Everyone was surprised by this, considering the Mind Stone was inside Loki's Scepter.
Could this Shielding Helmet even block the Mind Stone's power?
That's a bit overpowered, isn't it?
"Are you talking about Loki's Scepter?"
Tony Stark immediately looked surprised, but then thought for a moment and said, "What about the Mind Stone? The Scepter and the Stone are two different things, right? When the Mind Stone was used by Loki in the Scepter, it could only exert extremely limited, insignificant power, right?"
Tony Stark made a valid point.
Although the power of the Infinity Stones was immense, it wasn't easy to harness their might.
Without the proper means, even if you were given the stone, it would be useless.
"I'm not too sure about that. Anyway, the power of the Scepter, and Scarlet Witch's magic—I'm referring to the mind-control kind of magic—are perfectly immune to it."
Thor shook his head and told everyone.
The Mind Stone, if someone could wield even greater power to control minds, perhaps the Shielding Helmet wouldn't work?
However, this is impossible to test at the moment, and no one can give a definite answer.
"In short, I'm very satisfied with this helmet," Thor said with a smile again.
Thor's strength is undoubtedly formidable. His attack and defense are impeccable. The only blemish might be his mind being controlled by Scarlet Witch.
But the appearance of this Shielding Helmet can be said to have made up for Thor's last weakness.
Now, Thor has no vulnerabilities in his mind or body, and he is practically invincible.
"That's great. Thor is even stronger than before," Captain America was genuinely happy for Thor.
"I didn't expect the answer to this question to be Star-Lord," Doctor Strange shrugged, saying with a little surprise.
"This must be a mistake. How could this question be about me? I'm comparable to mortals? I'm much stronger than mortals, okay!"
Star-Lord said with a very displeased tone.
"The system's judgment can't be wrong, Star-Lord. Since the system said so, then you are a god with a body comparable to a mortal."
Speaking of this, Tony Stark couldn't help but admire, "As expected of the Quiz System, the word choice is brilliant. Although there are only a few words, it's concise and accurate."
"Even if I'm comparable to a mortal, I'm still a god! I am a god, but you are just a mortal!" Seeing even Tony Stark came to mock him, Star-Lord immediately looked displeased and retorted.
"Sorry, I am a mortal body comparable to a god." Tony Stark thought for a moment and retorted with this sentence.
"A mortal body comparable to a god?"
Doctor Strange couldn't listen anymore and couldn't help but speak, "Mr. Stark, do you always praise yourself like this? Although I used to do this often, isn't this sentence a bit too exaggerated?"
"Doctor." Black Widow spoke for Tony Stark on the side, "Although this sentence sounds arrogant at first, I have to say that it's not that arrogant when it's said by Stark. What he will achieve in the future, even gods might not be able to do."
Doctor Strange and Star-Lord, as newcomers, naturally found Tony Stark's words arrogant. However, the veterans of the Quiz System carefully considered them and realized they weren't.
Compared to the other super soldiers, gods, magicians, mutants, and other freaks in the Avengers, Tony Stark was truly just a mortal.
But he could go toe-to-toe with Thanos, draw blood on Thanos's face, and even kill Thanos in the end. How was that any different from a god? Even Thor hadn't achieved that.
To be on par with a god while being a mortal, it really wasn't an exaggeration.
"You guys are serious?"
Star-Lord gaped at Tony Stark, chuckling. "He's comparable to a god? Him? You Earthlings don't know what a real god is, do you?"
Although this guy could fly around in armor, which looked pretty cool, they were talking about gods!
Are gods only at that level?
[End of this round of quizzes!]
A prompt suddenly sounded, interrupting everyone's discussion.
This surprised everyone present. There wasn't even an answer analysis for this question.
This was the first time this had happened.
Whoosh!
But the system didn't give anyone a chance to think or discuss. After the prompt indicating the end of the quiz sounded, the pure white quiz space disappeared instantly.
The people inside the quiz space naturally vanished as well.
And at the very moment the quiz ended…
In the dark world.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
The figures of several people appeared out of thin air, including Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor, who had originally participated in the quiz.
"It's the Dark World, the place we were before. We're back!" Black Widow said, surveying their surroundings.
No one was particularly surprised.
"So it seems Doctor Strange and Star-Lord have also returned to their respective places," Captain America added.
"Thor."
As they were talking, Hawkeye, holding the Wind-Piercing War Bow, came down from his vantage point. "The Dark Elves have been eliminated, but there's a problem. How do we get back?"
They were on another planet, and the original entrance had vanished since they arrived. They couldn't find a way back.
Although Jane Foster had returned to Earth from the critical point, it was clear she'd done so by accident. It had even taken her five hours to return.
This isn't particularly helpful.
"Welcome to Asgard, everyone," Thor said with a smile. "Heimdall will transport us there, and then we can return to Earth."
After discussing Thor's suggestion amongst themselves, everyone agreed without any objections.
This was the more reliable approach.
After all, the Nine Realms were currently converging, and if they wandered around the dark world, they could accidentally stumble onto another planet.
That would be a problem.
"Asgard, the legendary realm of the gods, this is going to be quite the experience," Hawkeye, Barton, shrugged slightly, a look of excitement on his face.
"The Celestial Palace, this is something I never anticipated," Dr. Banner, who had been restored to normal by Captain America's awakening bracelet, was also full of anticipation.
"Heimdall!"
Thor didn't say anything more. He pointed his hammer towards the sky and issued a distant "Summon," "Take us back!"
Whoosh!
A ray of multicolored light instantly descended from the sky, enveloping everyone present.
Everyone only felt their vision blur, a powerful force acting upon them, and a feeling of weightlessness. Then, everything returned to normal.
At this moment, everyone realized they were in another grand hall, filled with exotic charm and a majestic atmosphere.
A burly man in full armor, holding a longsword, stood before a device.
Without a doubt, it was Heimdall.
"Welcome to Asgard."
Heimdall knew that the people in front of him were all important friends of Thor, so he greeted them from afar.
Everyone naturally responded with a few polite words.
They also had genuine respect for this warrior, who was absolutely loyal to Thor and protected Asgard with his life.
"Everyone, I'll take you to see my father first!"
After greeting Heimdall, Thor didn't waste any time. He immediately led everyone to the Golden Palace, to meet Odin.
"You must be the heroes who helped Thor defeat the Dark Elves," Odin said slowly, standing up to face them.
Although Odin usually didn't allow people from Midgard to appear in Asgard at will, it depended on who they were.
Jane Foster was just an ordinary Earth woman, nothing more. As Odin said, goat meat wouldn't make it to the table, but these people in front of him were different.
Having previously defeated the Destroyer, Asgard's ultimate weapon, and saving Thor's life, and now helping Thor defeat the Dark Elves, this person absolutely deserves to come to Asgard.
Even more so, he deserves the respect of Odin.
Not to mention, these people are also Thor's "quiz buddies," which makes their status even more special.
"Please allow me, on behalf of Asgard, to extend my sincere gratitude to you! Asgard welcomes you as guests!" Odin continued, addressing everyone.
"Your Majesty!"
"Your Majesty the God King!"
The people at the scene also returned Odin's salute, not daring to be the least bit negligent. Even Tony Stark, who was always arrogant, was well-behaved at this moment.
The old man in front of them was the ruler of the Nine Realms and a God King of his time; no amount of respect was too much for his status.
"Father, this is the Aether!"
After the greetings, Thor handed the treasure box to Odin.
Odin took it, examined it, and nodded. "Exactly as described in the ancient texts. Thor, you've done another great deed."
"It's my duty, Father!" A smile involuntarily appeared on Thor's face.
After seeing Odin, Thor personally led everyone on a tour of Asgard and prepared a lavish banquet.
A pleasant time was had by all, needless to say.
Afterward, the group returned to New York, back to the Quiz Takers' Base, and as usual, shared information and analyzed this round of the quiz.
They formulated their next response plan, and so on.
This time, however, there was one more person in attendance: Doctor Strange.
"Welcome to the Quiz Takers' Alliance, Doctor Strange."
In the meeting room, Nick Fury slowly stood up and extended his hand toward Doctor Strange, who had just entered with Black Widow.
The two shook hands, exchanging greetings.
Doctor Strange glanced around at the people present, a look of surprise on his face. "So, everyone here has participated in that amazing quiz? I must say, there are more of you than I expected."
"Have a seat, Doctor. Everyone here has taken the quiz before. Feel free to ask any questions you have."
Nick Fury gestured for Doctor Strange to sit down, and they both took their seats.
"Alright everyone, now that we're all here, I think we can officially begin," Nick Fury said to everyone with a serious expression, scanning the room.
The meeting officially began.
The first segment was naturally the sharing of information revealed by the quiz takers during this round. Exclamations of surprise echoed throughout the meeting room.
"Thanos killed half of all life in the universe? Not just the billions of humans on Earth?"
"Humanity failed the first time, so they traveled through time to engage Thanos in the final battle?"
"Besides Thanos, there's also a Dark Lord, Dormammu, who wants to invade Earth?"
Nick Fury, Hawkeye Barton, Dr. Banner, and others were stunned by these bombshells, their hearts churning with immense waves.
Even with their composure, they couldn't remain calm in the face of such earth-shattering news.
