Yide's Villa.
Inside a spacious conference room, Yide sat at the head of a long rectangular table.
To his sides, Arlecchino, Clorinde, Ophelia, and Furina were seated.
Yide cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention to him. He then announced in a clear voice, "The purpose of our West Factory, from beginning to end, is singular: to defend true fairness and justice.
Everyone should be aware that the so-called justice in Fontaine is merely a false illusion.
The nobles are high above, trampling the law under their feet, while the justice of ordinary people is ruthlessly trampled upon.
What we must do is ensure that the noble class disappears from Fontaine forever."
His firm and powerful voice echoed in the large conference room.
Ophelia and Furina were exceptionally moved by his words. They had long harbored immense dissatisfaction and anger towards those reckless and lawless nobles.
Clorinde's reaction was more subdued; for her, it was enough to carry out orders.
Arlecchino's expression was somewhat complex. Yide himself was a noble, part of the privileged group, yet he sought to eliminate his own class.
Yide continued, "Currently, the nobles monopolize almost all social resources in academia, journalism, and the legal and political sectors. They use their positions and power to completely deprive ordinary people of opportunities, severely hindering social development.
Next, our West Factory will begin by clearing out the academic noble trash."
Turning his gaze to Furina, he said gently, "Inspector Furina, could you please share the information you've gathered recently?"
Upon hearing this, Furina immediately stood up, and due to her short stature, she simply stood on the chair.
She said with a serious expression, "According to the in-depth investigation by Ophelia and myself, we have discovered extremely serious problems with Baron Colton, the Dean of Academics at the Fontaine Research Institute.
He is suspected of academic fraud and deception, not only exploiting students and seizing their academic achievements but also using his authority to coerce young and beautiful female students into improper relationships with him."
Yide snorted coldly, "What a beast in human clothing. Then, let's start the operation to eliminate the nobles with him!"
…
Fontaine Research Institute, Dean's Office.
Inside a spacious office at the Fontaine Research Institute, the atmosphere was heavy and oppressive.
Behind the desk sat a middle-aged man with greasy hair and a fat face, none other than Baron Colton, the Dean of Academics.
His small eyes revealed lewdness and vulgarity, constantly scanning the female student, Helen, in front of him, as if trying to strip her bare with his gaze.
Helen stood before the desk, her hands clasped tightly together, appearing somewhat uneasy.
She wore a simple white dress, her figure slender and her chest perky, exuding an aura of youth.
However, her face was filled with worry and helplessness.
Colton deliberately said in a difficult tone, "Helen, I have reviewed your thesis several times.
To be honest, the content lacks novelty and value, and the probability of passing the thesis defense is very low."
As he spoke, a sneering smile crept onto his lips, as if enjoying Helen's despair.
Upon hearing this, Helen's face turned even paler.
She bit her lip and said in a trembling voice, "Dean Colton, I have tried my best. This thesis is the result of much effort and time, and every word is the result of my careful research."
Colton's gaze lingered on Helen's chest, becoming even more blatant.
He said with a sneer, "Helen, you must understand that in this world, many things cannot be achieved through effort alone. You need to leverage your advantages to go further."
Helen finally realized the meaning behind Colton's words and his disgusting gaze.
Her face instantly turned red, filled with anger and humiliation.
She wanted to scold this disgusting man to his face, to let him know her strength. But she also knew that doing so could have even more serious consequences.
"Dean Colton, I beg you, please let me go." Helen's voice trembled and was weak, her eyes filled with helplessness and pleading.
A sneer appeared on Colton's lips. He slowly stood up from his seat, walked to Helen's side, reached out, and forcibly grabbed her hand.
"What do you mean, 'let you go'? Helen, you should understand that it is you who should let me go." Colton's voice was filled with threat and seduction.
"As long as you agree to my conditions, I guarantee that your thesis will pass. Moreover, I will give you more opportunities and resources to shine in academia."
As he spoke, his ugly, fat face drew closer and closer. Helen could even feel the stench and alcohol fumes in his breath.
She couldn't help but feel disgusted and nauseated, using all her strength to push him away.
Colton did not expect Helen to react this way. His body lost its balance, and he staggered a few steps before barely regaining his footing.
His face instantly turned gloomy and terrifying, like the prelude to an approaching storm.
"Helen, you asked for this!" Colton said through gritted teeth. "I'm telling you, your thesis will never pass, and you can forget about graduating from the Fontaine Research Institute in this lifetime!"
Upon hearing this, Helen's heart was filled with despair and helplessness.
Colton stood there, enjoying the look of despair on Helen's face. This feeling of controlling another person's destiny filled him with immense satisfaction and intoxication.
But just then, a sudden loud noise shattered the silence of the office.
The door was kicked open with a "bang," and the entire door frame was shaking violently.
Colton stood there in shock, momentarily forgetting to react.
He stared wide-eyed at the doorway, where a handsome and aloof figure stood.
When Colton saw the face of the person who had come, he was scared out of his wits.
Because it was Yide of the West Factory!
